Title: Looking for a NEC D1771C 011 Datasheet

Have a Firefox 7 game that has a NEC D1771 C011 chip on the logic board, and I think it is some sound generator. Does anybody know where to find a datasheet for it. I find some D17718, D17719 etc sheets, but these are all square chips with half width pinouts, mine is a normal 28 pin DIP.

That's also often referred to as uPD1771 - there is some info in the MAME source for it.

Thanks, It was in MESS, not in MAME, but it does contain very useful info. Pinout details, principle etc.  ;D
