Sorry Bruno, please please can the posting timing limit be brought back from 90 seconds to, 30 or so ?
I mean, it really is hurting my contributions here....I understand it's for stopping spamming robots but....
Also, after you get the message you can't use the "back" button on your browser, wait 90 seconds and then click "Post" but you have to make a new reply again...really it is so annoying.

I dont experience it alot, but it does happen, and when it does i agree, its super annoying !
60 sec. would be sufficient for me though..

I dont know if bruno has a hard time keeping spammers of the forum. If he has a hard time i would say maybe reduce it but dont get rid of it.

Lol, still the only one who voted the second. I think both are essentially the same answer, but the second was more funny.

Yeps... attacks increase these last days :-\
The worse is a robot who try member by member to log, and of course each time with a different IP  Don't hesitate to pickup a complex password just in case!
I'm active on these security issues... but on a personal side, I confess I would like to spend more time on DL/ALS topics than security and board maintenance stuff :-\
Regarding the post time limit, I've just low the value to 40sec.
Fucking hackers! It's more easy to destroy than to create

Well, it wasn't suppose to have the whole "story" behind it, but I couldn't edit it anymore...
Let it be clear that I fully understand that forums like these are under constant attack it it is a royal PITA for Bruno !!
Thanks for bringing it back a bit Bruno, I hope it is still enough to keep the bad guys out....

I've been using cloudflare on some of my customer's sites, it caches the pages on a CDN (content distribution network) and refuses access to all kinds of robots etc.
It can be quite aggressive so you sometimes have to tune it a little but it seriously reduces hack attempts and makes the site faster.
Check it out: http://www.cloudflare.com/
The free plan will do all you need and you can use it as long as you can change the DNS settings for the site/domain.
