Well I've been so far a pretty big fan of RS online but tonight I was looking through my history of orders to re-order some parts.

When I selected one to order again, the price had MORE THAN DOUBLED.

So, I started to check out a good number of other parts and the same for those !?!?!?

I mean, I can understand some price changes but this is pretty insane. It's all for small parts in small amounts, maybe this is the "key" problem but still....

Just so you know, and yes I will bugging them about it (if everyone stays quite they probably go on with it....)

To be very honest, the first order was from aug 2009....I guess the crisis is over ?

Guess they have to earn that free express shipment from abroad anywhere. 5 American transistors free shipped to my door for 75 cents.... Can't complain much about that.
Another thing that comes to mind is the ROHS stuff. When I started using RS there was a lot of non ROHS stuff available at least 20-50% cheaper than ROHS compliant parts. That non ROHS stuff is almost all out of stock today.

Yeah....and of course prices for copper and gold etc. have risen through the roof lately....indeed it's still LOADS cheaper then my local electronics dealer ever was...
