Title: Saying Hi
Post by: Ruderudie on January 24, 2011, 10:43:42 PM
Hey guys,

I'm new here, but actually i have read many roadtrip stories and most of all the gameroom-building stories are great reads! I'm from Holland, and active on the Dutch Nozomi forum. Interest is mainly 90's games en Japanese cabs, but i also like classic cabs and in fact: everything arcade is great. Maybe in the future i will have room for a complete area of games, so far it's 2 cabs and just a nice size room upstairs.

Here are some pics of my room:

So i hope to read more great stories, especially the lair V3 and our own Ckong's gameroom!

Once the V3 will be done, I'll get a new astro for vertical shooter, for sure  :P

Enjoy the place  ;)

Welcome! Unlike the fast majority over here, i don't hate those cabinets and understand the appeal.
Would love to own one someday but for now i prefer spending my money on dedicated, earlier cabinets.

Just kidding, just kidding.....I have no hate against traditional Japanese plastic cabinets.
I have no love for them either  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hope you catch my sense of "humor"  ;D ;D ;D

Hi Rudie, welcome here. And yes, another dutchie, and again a nozomi member. It's almost as 'we' are planning to take over, first Onno, then me, joeks is also around here, Almighty, Psykick and now you. Where will it end?  ;D ;)

But without kidding, it's nice to see the love for both 'plastic' candy cabs and 'woodden' classic cabs. Like a lot of other people I love both of them.

Yes indeed erik, dutch invasion :)! My first cab was a classic upright though, but for me the not-dedicated cabs are a better option, considering the ammount of space i have. By the way, the sega aero is completely made out of solid steel!

+1, I like them OK atm but I'm pretty sure I will love them in let's say 15 years  ;)
Be very welcome here by the way!

Hiya Rudie !

Nice cabs you got there. That Aero is Full Metal Jacket Nanao goodness. (but hey, I'm somewhat *grin* inclined to the same tatste ...)
