i'm probably the only guy in the world who doesn't drink beer (well, except for malt beer), so here's my comment:
BEER SUCKS!!! :P
-
not the only guy,
I only drink it sporadicly in the summer in cobination with chinese food :D
-
Guess what? I'm from Belgium and ... I do not drink beers, except of course during party to 'add some' fun ::) ...but no beer out of parties ;)
Here's my favorite one :

Not to many beer lovers here?
I think I like Stella Artois the most and Jupiler the second most.
And for some heavier beers I like Leffe the most, but unlike many I like to drink Leffe out of the bottle. If I drink it from a glass I have the feeling that it loses many flavors.
Here´s your topic ;)

Have you tried Primus? Now that's bitter and disgusting.

No, haven't tried that one... my favorite one on a hot day is.....

Hoegaarden is okay, don't think it's bad but don't think it's really good either.
You should try Hoegaarden Rosé if you like Hoegaarden.
But don't try the Primus, it's the worst beer ever.
-
Ok, ill keep that in mind...
Though i´m from Denmark, we got alot of different beer´s up here..
Tasted this one on my christmas holiday, and i really liked it (and it had quite a kick!)

I also like some native ones...
Tuborgs "Golden Lady"
And Carlsbergs "Elephant"

Mmm, I would like to try them, do they come in bottles to? Because I don't like beer in a can, I always feel like a hobo when I drink it .
-
I don't know about the Amsterdam, but the Elephant comes in an 0.33 litre bottle...
-
Yeah, the only time I drink beer out of a can is when I'm at a festival on the camp-site.
Most of the time I bring the cheepest beer too, haha.
I always take cara, it's like 24 cans for six euro's.

I wouldn't drink that stuff it were the last beer in the world....in fact, I wouldn't drink it if it was the last drink in the world.....
;D ;D ;D ;D
Totally fake too, because that stuff is not even sold here.... :)
Dutch beer sucks in general...there are a few minor exceptions. Hertog-Jan is kinda' OK.
My favorite Belgian beer is Ciney:

I love both the blonde and the dark (brown ?) versions...
To my utter horror I just found out that the brand is now brewn by Alken-Maes, which in it's turn is owned by (the lord forbid)...Heineken
I think it is a good time and place to offer our sincere apologies to the world for the chemistry stuff that they call beer that has been spread around the world by a guy named Heineken....
Sorry guys.
But let's talk about great beer:
La Chouffe is another favorite, recently eclipsed by our arcade friend's own Zonderik:

I absolutely hate La chouffe, I can't help it.
-
personally, beer I like most are trappist tripel beer.
They are big in alcohol degrees, but taste is on top.
my favorites :
ename (hard to find)
affligem triple (those with the green label)
nothing to do in taste with the regular and popular affligem
gouden carolus
(http://brouette-de-bieres.com/images/bieres/bouteilles/bois/Gouden%20Carolus%20Tripel%20-%20330ml%20-%20210X330.jpg)
tripel karmeliet
(http://brouette-de-bieres.com/images/bieres/bouteilles/bois/Tripel%20Karmeliet%20-%20330ml%20-%20210X330.jpg)
for the non tripel typed, maredsous is a good choice, especially the bruin one.
a delight when available as draft beer in the neighbourhood.

guess what : they're all belgian.
and yes, I DO like beer,
the oldest safest drink ever :)
yes, before water, as beer could be drunk later when water become undrinkable.
this made long travel possible during antiquity ages.
-
HAven't tried any of them but I know them by name.
I wanna try the maredsous, how does that one taste?

maredsous exist in both blond and brown.
blond is lighter, tasty and fresh.
brown is more interesting imho,
brown but not bitter, very surprising for a brown in fact
it developps complex flavor that never annoys
For me, simply the best Brown beer.

I must really try it sometime then, probably won't kill my love for brown leffe tho
