Een Amerikaanse man is door een auto aangereden nadat hij met een vriend de klassieke videogame Frogger in het echt probeerde na te spelen. In Frogger moet de speler als een kikker aan de overkant van een drukke weg zien te komen door het verkeer te ontwijken.

Omstanders meldden tegenover het lokale tv-station WYFF dat de 23-jarige man "Go!" uitriep voordat hij een drukke autoweg in de stad Clemson oprende. Vrijwel meteen werd hij geschept door een terreinwagen van het merk Lexus. De man ligt in stabiele toestand in het lokale ziekenhuis.

Frogger kwam oorspronkelijk in 1981 uit in spelhallen als arcadegame. Het spel werd ontzettend populair en komt zelfs tegenwoordig nog uit voor nieuwe platformen.

Now I finally found out where all those Centipede cabs came from.
Yesterday I saw James Bond Never say Never Again, where there is a scene in the NICE casino, with a seperate game room with ONLY Centipedes.  :lol:
