Title: status of my ongoing restoration projects

hi guys!
i thought i could give you a little heads up of my current restoration projects to keep you in the loop. i'll open a new posting for each individual game!
let's get this show on the road ...

things i have done:
- repainted entire cabinet
- applied new sideart
- applied new control panel overlay
- installed new t-molding
- installed a replacement light fixture (it didn't have one when i got the game)

things left to be done:
- connect the light fixture to the main circuit
- repair the monitor (game play blind, no neckglow)

status: 80% complete

things i have done:
- touched up cabinet's artwork
- applied new control panel overlay
- rebuilt the worn williams joystick assembly
- installed new t-molding

things left to be done:
- install a highscore save battery

status: 95% complete / game is working

- stencilled artwork
- powdercoated / cleaned coin door
- applied new control panel overlay
- installed new t-molding

things left to be done:
- remove hack from pcb (stuck in test mode) / get replacement pcb
- repaint flaking glass bezel

status: 80% complete

things i have done:
- applied new vinyl
- applied new sideart
- powdercoated / cleaned coin doors
- installed new t-molding

things left to be done:
- replace / clean sound potentiometer (crackles when being turned)
- replace red joystick with an original atari logo stick (not sure though yet, because i like the red alternative)

status: 95% complete

things i have done:
- installed leg levelers (original cab doesn't have any)
- touched up cabinet's artwork / repainted parts using sand structure
- touched up / cleaned coin door
- cleaned the entire power board
- installed new t-molding

things left to be done:
- find the error which is is creating those three beeps
- install new control panel once the replacement panels are finished

status: 80% complete BEEP BEEP BEEP

things i have done:
- stripped cab down entirely and fixed massive damages to the wood
- repainted entire cabinet
- stencilled sideart
- removed acid damage from pcb / installed highscore save battery (done by andré :-*)

things left to be done:
- put cab back together (this is going to be difficult, because i forgot to take pictures when i disassembled it)
- install missing coin mech

status: unknown! let's see what happens once i power it up ...

- applied new sideart
- powdercoated / cleaned coin door
- installed new t-molding
- rebuilt trackball

things left to be done:
- apply new control panel overlay once the european version has been updated

status: 90% complete / game is working

- cleaned control panel overlay (magic eraser rocks)
- replaced rusted screws with painted new ones

things left to be done:
- replace the burnt connector on the power board
- fix damages to the woodgrain vinyl
- install t-molding
- install new leg levelers

status: 70% complete
