Hey all,
First post :)
Some of you may know me, I'm the guy that bought the Mechelen Toy Museum collection four years ago. Most of those machines have moved to a new home, some of them remained and make up the core of my arcade collection. This week some new arrivals entered the home:

Tempest is working nicely, although the color green appears to be somewhat faint.
Burgertime is currently dead. I ordered a working board, hope that will do the trick
... or else Andre has got to come over to do some repairs :)
Cheers,
Marco

Hi Marco !
Welcome here :)

Yeah, that's my Computer Space. Here (http://members.home.nl/mcj.kerstens/my%20computerspace%20repairs.wmv) is what it looks like today (with the guy who brought it back to life). Still needs a tv, but I'm very happy with the result so far (compared to what it looked like when I got it)!
The Tempest and Burgertime were imported from the US indeed. Managed to buy them cheap, so with the (expensive) shipping it was still sorta doable
That Pleiads looks great - how's the Space Wars?
Cheers,
Marco
PS: oh, hi Franck!

Hey Marco,
This summer I'm going to be at your place for a day for sure !!!!
This is one shameful black page in my hobby history that Marco knows about, but I'm going to make it up to him ! :D

Hi,
hehe, don't worry man!
Lots of cool projects though: a Tempest cabaret (this one will go up for sale BTW once it works again - any takers??) and a Star Wars upright with no picture, and a Space Duel with half a picture!
Cheers,
Marco

Hello,
and wowzers, a Tempest and Burgertime. I like the laserbeam effects on the Tempest sideart.
-
Welcome and great cabinets!!!
-
Tempest cabaret sold !
Ah, uh, oh, oops sorry.......how much ? ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
Cabaret?? there´s no caberet here, only a regular UR...
-
I have a Tempest cabaret as well (not in the picture).
Currently no picture (I suspect it's a loose contact or a fuse, it worked before the transport from Sweden).
Cheers,
Marco
-
uh, sorry, can see Level42 got some intel! :) ;)
-
I hate to see they didn't pad the machines, and you got some scuff damage...... Near the P in Pepper pretty scuffed... I guess that'll be somewhat of an easy fix? :-[
-
A good cleaning will bring them up to acceptable condition, I think.
Cheers,
Marco

Marco, your name sounds italian, are you from the "bel paese"?
-
nope, from the paese basso :)
Cheers,
Marco

Hi everyone,
I'm new to his forum and thought I'd introduce myself. I was directed by Ckong whom I know from the Dutch Nozom forum. I had read his tremendous roadtrips before but as I'm very busy I didn't want to register myself to tons of forums. But I recently bought a Nintendo VS. cocktail table and Ckon said that some guys wanted to know more about it and so I thought that if I could contribute something to this forum I would gladly do so.
Like I said I'm always very busy, this is because I'm married, have two wonderfull daughters ( 9 and 6 ) and me and my wife run a lunchroom/diner in The Hague, Netherlands. Of course I'm also infected with the arcade virus and I like almost everything as long as it's neat, has something to do with my personal gaming history or plain cool.
One of these days I'll be making some pics of the Nintendo with some more info about the cab, for me personally it's one of the best finds ever, I really like this cab, hope you guys do too.
Cheers ;)
