I would like to decorate my yet to build gameroom with a few nice big framed posters of arcades, posters with lot of classic cabs on them. I will print them from digital photos. Who has nice pictures for me? Because of the size of the posters (50x70 cm or so) the pictures have to be of good quality.
Funspot is of course a must.
-
you can also print out original Arcade flyers at www.arcadeflyers.com. Very nice to see how they promoted your specific cabinet back in the old days
-
I've done that, but you can't make them too big for the resolution.
I do have a full-resolution file of the Meteor flyer though (best flyer EVER !:D)
And of course, this is so great:

And there's more posters here:

Download and have them printed at an on-line photo service. I've done my SW poster that way at Kruidvat for only about 8 euro or so.

Thanks for the links guys, the star wars poster looks great, downloading as we speak.
however, I also am searching some real-life pics of arcade halls, like Funspot. I don't care if there are people on the pictures, this just adds to the atmosphere of a gameroom. didn't Bruno went to Funspot? ;)
-
it's tough. unless you have a great DSLR on a tripod or something, it'll be difficult to take a high res shot of an arcade because they tend to be darken places.
the only photos that i have of this kind is from my visit to PHoF, but photos were taken with my old compact. not great quality really...

P.S. I just noticed the Berzerk in there......it's funny, when I took those pics I only had a Mame Cab and I believe the Double Axle. After a few weeks that we were back, I found my Galaxian. And now I found a Berzerk.....so next what I will find is.......a Q*bert cocktail !!!!!!! Or a Burger Time !!!!!!!!!!!
(Or a Pong Doubles.....mmmmm)

Yeah ? Wait till you see the pics I've made with my home-developped dream-camera. With this attached to your brains, you can get pictures of the (wet)dreams you have at night. Of course, most pictures are unsuitable to publish here (to scary or to horny :D) but here are a couple of them:
