VerniZac Quasar AND VANGUARD

After a couple of years I optioned it, tonight this cab reached my garage.
Not good conditions.
-CP has been corrupted but some friends told me this modification with a metal plate was quite common.
-No tmolding on the left edge
-some scratches
-glass broken...
- inside seems to be complete

I had it for free but I'm quite tired to restore zacs in these conditions...

wow a quasar in worse condition than mine, I thought that was hard to do. jk
Well, at least you have the boards.  I'm looking for a set to make mine complete, it's the last piece of the puzzle for me.

If you wish to part with them, there's a quasar over with me that would use them gladly.

Thank you for the offer  :wink: but I think I'll restore it...
actually I checked the manual, and the CP is not corrupted but modified in order to be compliant with the "2 buttons version" instead of "joystick version"

however the glass is just broken...

i have no idea if it is complete pcb or not as i do not own a zacc .
No clue if it works or not .
We will not use it so you can have it .

Yesterday I found a VANGUARD in awesome conditions...
only few scratches but never seen a zac in these conditions...
the guy told me: I have a problem. switching on the cab I can see only a dark screen...
just the time to move around the cab to understand that the board is missing...

he wants to sell it for 150 euros but I dunno how rare is that board and how many years I have to wait to find one :D

is there a dedicated zac vanguard board or they used an original SNK?

According to the list on Paul Swan's  site, its a licensed SNK game.

i have no idea if dedicated zacc hardware exists, but i guess not.
