My name is Niklas, I'm a 36 old Illustrator from Hamburg, Germany. I'm into arcade collecting for quite a few years now. In the past I was hoarding mostly japanese arcade machines but I always had my mind open for a nice Atari cabinet and the sorts of. One day I had to admit that all "the old stuff" was way more interesting than anything else, so I decided to get my hands on some dedicated machines in the future.
My once beloved main forum for many years (Arcadezentrum) has been almost completely defeated by people whose main purpose seems to be to have all arcade games ever produced in a sterile DIY-MAME-cabinet with a 15" LCD-screen, so I'm looking out for a new forum, where the good old times survived. :)

Welcome! :)

Thanks! Don't know where else to go. :-\ ;D

You've landed in the right place indeed. ;)
Welcome to this time capsule in which every single bolt and nuts from a cab tells a story... a galaxy far far away from the hungry Mamers :)

Thanksalot! That's what I was hoping to hear. ;D

Welcome here, i can understand your step ;D
Now, i am totally not against MAME, as long as its done well, and not like this ;D ;D

Me neither. Unfortunately most Mame cabinets look like there was no more room in hell...

Yeh, names are my current problem here too, it's a stony way getting to know all the people in a new forum.
Little by little, the bird builds its nest. :)

Hi Niklas, welcome here. I sometimes read your topics and posts on AZ since a few years, but I do not always understand what you are saying, not because of my bad German, but because of the slang German words and expressions that you, and others over there, use sometimes. :) ;D I like it though.
You made a good decision to join here. OK, now some pics of your collection, please. :D
-
Thanksalot, matey. :)
Think now it's my turn not understanding slang terms. ::) ;D
I'm expecting 4 or 5 new machines in the next weeks and I'm looking forward to take some pics of the entire collection. Also I'm keen on restauring my holy grail, which will be my first thread here on this fantastic forum. :)
