OK, I need a clear picture:

Etienne installed the sockets and the new chips right ?

Did you try exchanging  the IC's ? They are socketed now anyway....

2x WRONG, gyruss forget to buy the sockets....  :-\

so i installed them the old fashion way....

I can not test the pcb i have no trackball

that seems like a lot of hassle for Robin, I guess i'll start looking for a new pcb

Uhhhh, well it would have been better to wait with that and still order the sockets....

Gyruss, when we have the monitor pick up at your place I can bring my PCB and track-ball and figure out where the problem is first....
