there was a thread on KLOV not too long ago regarding the reproduction of that thing. i signed up for it, but it never came through. here (http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=102963&highlight=road+blasters+shirt) is a thread with a link to a better picture and the original dimensions, i'll try to dig that other thread up as well!

UPDATE:

here (http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=136165&highlight=roadblasters+topper) is one with a couple more pictures and here (http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=134796&highlight=roadblasters+topper) is another one which also talks about a topper for toobin. looks like atariscott has the original films (which films doesn't he have? ;)), but this thing never came through. :(

I guess you mean the company that i use, its not my company  ;)

according to theyre site, they state that "as long as it fits under the printer, they can get a print on it  :D

so i think that cardboard is not a problem. the costs on the other hand... i have no clue.
i can ask for a price if you are interested.
But dont you have a printer close to your place Ully ?

We can gouge interest in this ofcourse, i mean , they have a "fixed start fee" so that can be devided by the people who want to participate.
or i can check the "other" printer that i have used before, and see if they do cardboard too..
(they tend to be a little cheaper, but i cannot tell the quality, from "my printer" i know they have the priority on quality.

also i need to know the thickness of the cardboard ofcourse, or how many "grams" it needs.

the guy's in the us are saying this:

The extra 4 inches folds under and has adhesive on it to stick to the top of the game. It is made of some sort of heavy stock paper or a thin cardboard.

anyway, the selected area in the earlier post is the "bottom" so thats the fold line

the 2 black squares represent the 2 strips of double sided scotchtape (i just putted a square around it that was in the picure):

maybe to get it more sturdy, i could include something like this :

I wonder how much my repro is worth  ;D
probably not much, since it is repro...

I wonder if the post will still accept a 1927 stamp though ;)

I still got a small stamp collection on the attic of my parents. Time to sell it ;)

i was collecting stamps as well when i was a boy (which boy didn't?) and since those albums were only lying around, i put all the german stamps on envelopes, even the ones which weren't supposed to be "good" anymore - never had a single problem with it!

I did a online check, and the biggest paper i can choose at the other printer than "my printer" is the size A3

which is good for the width but not the length,
however, you can "miss" a part from the botton because a little smaller "foot" will not matter if you make it a bit more sturdy like i suggested earlier

30 pieces is the minimum quantity in this case and the costs are +- 40€ for 30 pieces.

cool etienne, BUT here comes mr anal (*duck*): i didn't look into this in detail (will do so whne i have more time), but i immediately realized that the yellow-red stripe has to go UNDER the word Blasters at the top PLUS there is a fine outline around the yellow text at the top. there's also something wrong with the explosion, but i'll have to look into that in more detail!

sorry for pointing this out, i totally appreciate what you have done, but i'm pretty sure we all want this to be perfect, don't we?

Yes, i "stole" the explosion from the marquee  ;D

you have good eyes sir !

I have made the adjustments, and rebuilded the explosion from scratch..

Printed it out today, stuck it on sheet of plastic and slabbed it on top of Road Blasters, et voilà.
Honestly, I'm not sure if it stays there as I think it looks a bit stupid  :P
Which of course has nothing to do with Etiennes great work, thank you very much for your efforts, much appreciated and well done!

Thanks for the compliment

I dont think it looks bad..
i have read the threat on klov and there was a guy who framed it and put it next to the coindoor, which also looked nice.
