THanks to Xadhoom and indirectly to Spectoman, I have a Zac Dodgem in my hands.
Not in so bad conditions but in any case I needed to work a little bit on it.

First of all I worked on the CP

Spraying the wood and rebuilding the missing colors on the overlay

Then I worked on the Joystick

I've to say with a discrete result...

and the I passed to the coin door

I'll skip some steps I don't want to bore you :)

Cabinet base was missing so I used the scratch of EYES to rebuild it. Measures were not the same so I misured my Astro Wars base to reproduce it.

THen I refurbished the electrical parts. I recapped the PSB replacing all regulators too

this is the result

Now I'm working on the TV

I recapped it and after I changed all power transistors it gave some signs of life.
Not enough because the resistor on the power section becomes immediately incandescent and the screen begins to vibrate.

Board doesn't work but we will talk about that in the next days :D

Now the game works :)

Powering on I could see the game in reset mode

looking at the schematics...

I bypassed the reset through J13

So I could see board had graphic problems

replacing some RAMs I understood I was on the right way

nce all RAMs were replaced I had a good screen but I though the game reset again after drawing the maze. Running the game on MAME I understood this game hasn’t an attract mode so I mounted the PCB in its cabinet in order to test I/O

now it works...

Swithces on board

Additional switches
