Not exactly a cab that pops up in Europe, seem to be plenty Stateside though. Thought I'd put a post up just in case anyone has one they might be tempted to part with for cash or trades in as you never know until you ask :)
There seem to be 2 variations, the larger upright cab similar to Gyruss, and the woodgrain cab that had Time Pilot, Phoenix etc. in.
I'd take a project, a empty shell or a mint condition one, or may consider a game like Phoenix in the same cab shape as I have seen a few of them in Europe.

Same for me! I've never seen a dedicated one in Europe.
Back in the dayz, I played that game on a generic jamma cabinet. Great memories... great game! :-* :-* :-*

gratulations. otherwise I would have stepped in for sure :)

Really pleased to get one so quickly! I'm surprised none of these made it to Europe as it was a popular game and an appealing cab design.
-
I've seen the game BITD on different spots, but don't remember this cab

I agree and I kinda forgot/did not know about Thwockers' cause I might have wanted it too ;) ....Very fun and underrated game and TBHO I only learned about it when I was into this hobby....

It was the first arcade game I ever really spent time playing, we had a little cabinet in our school common room so it has special memories for me.
-
Played this a LOT. It was on the first floppydisk we got with our MSX in the 80's.
Along with a lot of other Konami classics such as Yie are Kung-Fu, Pippols, Road-Fighter, Penguin Adventure, Tennis etc.
Good memories. Great you found one Muddy! :)

Ah so you were the other person that had an MSX ;D
It was a fantastic computer for Konami games, I had quite a few myself. Road Fighter is still one of my favourites today and of course Circus Charlie and Hyper Olympic with the special controller. Many games were poor ZX Spectrum conversions but the Konami games on cartridge couldn't be bettered.
-
Actually, in the Netherlands the MSX was quite popular. Probably has to do with one of the manufacturers, Philips, which is also based in the Netherlands.
Loved the Konami games on cartridge. Salamander with the excellent SCC audio-chip :) USAS, F1-spirit.
-
I also had (and still have) a MSX home computer. Didn't have any cartridges, only cassette tapes and I played alle games using the keyboard.
Loved games like Knightmare, King's Valley, Athletic Land, Hyper Olympic 1 en 2, etc... Konami rocked bigtime

Oh yeah, forgot about King's Valley for a moment. Music comes to mind instantly :) Great game!
