Moved on to the next cab to fix - this is a very nice all original Zaccaria/Seevend/NSM Zaxxon, native German by the looks of it:

I will be scanning in the control panel, of course :) The only artwork problem is that the glass marque has been fractured, thankfully not completely shattered:

As with the Lazarian marque, I'm looking for help restoring the artwork to make a replacement. This ones a bit simpler than Lazarian, though. The 300DPI scans of the pieces are in the zip below. Interested in doing another, Mikonos? ;D

Crazy kong, Fitter, ~~Cat'n'Mouse~~ Pac'n'Paint and ofcourse frogger.

I think the rest uses the "generic" starsplash or spacestation.

The Full uprights have more sidearts afaik

My rudimentary skills with MS Paint are probably enough to touch up the join to get a good repro art set out of it. It's no where near as complicated as Lazarian :)

i was trying veryfast, but realised i needed to make the stitching part "transparent", and for that i did'nt have the time today...

I know this thread is a little bit old and probably PaulSwan has forgotten it, but maybe any other german user, or even him, would be interested in the CPO after a few minutes of "make-up" work.

I've photoshopped it, removing the dust and scratches of the surface (almost every of them at least), and I've corrected the colors as much as I could ;).

I've tried to upload it to the Arcade Art library website, but I couldn´t yet. Anyway, you can get the PNG file here (https://www.mediafire.com/?7ewc75jswtl6guz) :)

I've photoshopped the marquee too. Vectorizing it would be quite easy, but it would take more time and the final result would be quite similar :)

Anyway, there are situations that require a mix of pixel and vector in artwork simply because its sometimes not possible to vector everything

I totally agree with you. In fact, I've combined these two techniques to restore it. The yellow outlines and the white instruction sheet are vectors. Maybe some other parts will be also vectorized, don't know yet (probably the text and the Zaccaria-Namco logo too).

I always vectorize my works because unfortunately, I only get poor quality source files to work with. When I have good scans, photoshopping them provides good results.

I just apply some tips I've learned through out the years about the Photoshop adjusting layers (like levels or selective colour correction) and a lot of patience with the cloning tampon and the brush :D

If you want me to upload the psd file just tell me. I think I still have enough space on my Mediafire account.
