Title: Warehouse in Poland
Post by: TimePilot on October 28, 2011, 04:37:17 PM
As some of you may have seen already in my road trip reports, I live in the north-eastern part of germany, near the border with Poland. (100km away)
Now I have found a warehouse with many arcadecabs there, unfortunately mostly from the 90´s and 2000´s, with one nice exception. :o

ok, time for pictures...:

all these cabs working fine and for sale...

P.S. do you have found the "little" grail?

I'll take a guess - the Outrun sit-down is the exception? :)
Paul.

yepp Paul, you are right, congrats! ;D

but... it´s not simply a sit down outrun, it´s the deluxe version with motion.

150 off for the fugly Merkur sticker !

Definitly the pearl in the lot, but still other nice stuff there too. I see Hydrothunder which definitely deserves the name classic now too.

All in all, this looks like a candyshop for Polderarcade ! :)

Great find and most are working !!! Congrats !!!

That Ultra G is a very nice modern day cab IMHO, has a load of different games, and is very much like Hyperspin + MAME.

I also see Terminator and Dracula pinballs, but what's the one completely to the right ?

I wonder what that bike frame is for, maybe Prop Cycle ? But it doesn't look like it:

Ohhh, and you KNOW you want that Tom & Jerry kiddy ride !  ;D ;D ;D

Oh and seriously: 650 for a WORKING full motion Outrun is a STEAL in Europe IMHO and if I had the space and chance to buy it, I wouldn't think a second.
Ahhh, that sound of Magical Sound Shower in the rear speakers once you drive off....brings back the total arcade feel ! :)

O wait....I see that it is a right-hand driven version....nahhhh, 150 max for that one....stupid countries where they drive on the wrong side of the road....I can't even think about how it works to shift left-handed.... ;) ;) ;) ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D

How did that one end up on mainland Europe ? Maybe you can trade it with a UK guy who has the proper version  ;) ;) ;) ;D ;D ;D

so many stuff are in, i take more pics next time, and then with my digicam. :P

About outrun:
yes, the merkur sticker is terrible, but i can remove it.
...and i want to be safe this cab! :-*

I still thinking about the california speed too, the price is good, but i´m not sure. :-\

Come to think of it......I've NEVER seen a right-hand driven version before....
Of course they drive on the wrong side of the road in Japan too so maybe this is Japanese ?

That Tokyo Cop went with an early retirement. It's from 2003 and I still see them in operation in a "lot" of arcades or other places.

What House of the Dead version is that b.t.w. I think Polderarcade is looking for a HOTD. Any Time Crisis-es in there ?

It was a joke of course with "thinking about it", the outrun is sold...

and the best part: i make a wishlist with cabs they are on my searchlist, and he will contact other known operators in poland. he said that he knows any operator with older machines from 80s...
a wishlist, i love it... ;D

I will pick up the outrun cab in any weeks. If anybody wants to know more specified infos about a cab in this warehouse (price), please let me know.

This is one of the only dedicated machines i remember from my past and probably my favorite one !

Congrats !, and lots of pics please !  :spaceace:

yes, i hope it too.
but the pickup has moved to the future, because i had another "special" cockpit found in germany and that must be picked up sooner.

what's that Jurassic Park cab about?
what do you mean exactly?

im so tempted, and it would be cool along with the powerdrift :| i just think it might be a little bit too far making the delivery cost hard to justify :(

yeah, but you have a really nice guy called dave! he was already here by me and i think the distance is ok for him! and by the way, you can sold me a cab from yours, so we can share the delivery costs. ;)

Hey Mr timepilot,

I have a friend in the UK with a centipede cab, apparently has mild water damage at the bottom (as seems normal), also believe to have a millipede board with adapter instead of centipede pcb, but all working.  He is going to send me some pics and status next weekend...... - You were looking for a centipede right ?

maybe dave could pick this up if you were interested and we could work something out ;)

A trustworthy friend of mine is really interested in the pinballs, are they for sale and would you mind asking the seller for a price list?
thanks!
Title: Re: Warehouse in Poland
Post by: TimePilot on November 07, 2011, 06:43:01 PM
First, yes the pins are all for sale. but i doesn´t know about prices and conditions.

Contact the seller is only possible by phone or in person. for a list I had to talk to the chef in person at the company. I will not pick up the outrun dx for me, so is a hit not in sight. otherwise it would be if someone here buys the outrun and I helps with collecting.

i might be interested in some as well - as a trade with someone else. so if there is any chance to get a list with prices it would be awesome ...

there is non classic cab to find ully, except the outrun dx. i think a list from these warehouse are not interesting for you, or do you mean the wishlist? and these people are in business and don´t wanna trade i think, only selling.

as i written, a list is only possible when I'm there in person, but I can try to send a mail request to the seller.

EDIT: email did not work at this moment- mail came back with failure notice: wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses/does_not_like_recipient./Remote_host_said:User_mailstore_exceeded_quota_limit
