Artwork / Need scan of Sega Tac/Scan cpo
« on: December 18, 2015, 05:29:48 AM »
Hello, I'm working on a set of virtual models for 3dArcade of the Sega Convert-a-Games and one of the last things I need to complete them is a good scan of the Tac/Scan cpo.  If anyone's got one they could scan, there's a great big thank you in it for you.  Here's a poor photo of it, which is about all I can find online, aside from a recreation that someone did that's not really accurate enough, a little too cartoony.  Thanks all!

Arcade Lifestyle / Sega/Gremlin cardboard bezel help
« on: November 01, 2012, 01:10:13 AM »
Hoping for some help with the cardboard bezels in Sega/Gremlin machines like Frogger, Head-On, Carnival, Astro Blaster, Moon Cresta, Space Firebird, etc., for a set of 3d virtual models. I have the rest of the cabinet done from measurements taken at Funspot, but I couldn't measure the bezels as they're behind glass.  Here's a diagram of the measurements needed:

Any help is greatly appreciated.  It looks like different games used slightly different sized bezels, depending on the angle of the monitor, so if you can help with measurements, please indicate which game they're from -- I need dimensions from any/all of them.  Also, it looks like several games, Astro Fighter and Moon Cresta at least, used an additional two triangular or trapedoizal pieces, vertically attached to both sides.  Photos and measurements would be a huge help there as well.  Thanks guys.

Could someone with any one of these cabinets - Scramble, Astro Invader, Turtles - you know, the ones with the huge "STERN" on the side - break out a ruler and tell me the size of the triangular cutout at the bottom/rear of the side panel? From the photos I have, it looks like there were several slightly different sizes, so if you've got a cab and a ruler, please chime in. Thanks guys.

Arcade Lifestyle / Williams Fire! pinball machine manual
« on: November 11, 2011, 03:36:03 PM »
Longshot request here - I'm working on artwork for a 3dArcade version of Williams Fire! pinball machine.   Just found out that the cover of the manual has a black & white version of the table's sideart.  It would be a HUGE help if someone who has this manual could make a high-res scan of it for me.  Please let me know if you can help, thanks!

Could somebody with a digital camera and either a Gyruss, Track & Field, Hyper Sports, or Circus Charlie take a photo of the back of the cab, and a photo of the top for me? These are going to be used for a virtual model. Thanks guys.

Also, if you've got a Gyruss, can you tell me if the face of the control panel that has the joystick & buttons on it is parallel to the ground/perpendicular to the front edge of the machine? If not, can you tell me how much of a slight angle it's on? Thanks again.

Arcade Lifestyle / Wizard of Wor

Would someone with a WoW mind taking a few measurements for me?  This would have to be from a cabinet that matches my picture, as opposed to one that has a single front panel.  Thanks guys.  In the picture -

A = Upper white panel as measured from bottom of CP
B = Lower black panel, including door or whatever that is at the bottom
C = Space from bottom of lower black panel to bottom of side panel (not to floor, I don't want to include the height of the legs/feet
D = Upper white panel to front edge of side panel (not including T-molding)
E = Lower black panel to front edge of side panel (not including t-molding)
F = Bottom of coin door frame to bottom of upper white panel

Arcade Lifestyle / Sega Convert-a-Game photo request
« on: January 17, 2011, 05:38:42 AM »
Hello all, working on a project creating 3d models of all the Sega Convert-a-Game cabinets for the 3dArcade frontend. Scoured the internet for good pictures and found some (mostly Joymonkey and MAME in-game artwork) but I'm coming up empty on a handful. If you've got any of these games and can spare a little time to take some good hi-resolution pictures, it would be a huge help. Thanks in advance, and here's what I need:

Congo Bongo: control panel, sideart (both sides)
Eliminator: control panel, bezel, marquee
Monster Bash: control panel
Super Zaxxon: control panel, sideart (both sides)
Tac/Scan: control panel
Zaxxon: sideart (both sides)
Zektor: control panel, bezel
005: any pix at all, this cab looks similar to a CAG from the flyer pix but slightly different
