What are your opinions of leaf switch buttons vs. micro-switch buttons? I have purchased some new buttons for my arcade project, and I want your opinions.
-
I love leafs.
No click, no high pressure before activation. Leafs can be adjusted to your taste.
-
It also depends what your cup of tea is. Do you like SHMUP's? Then leafswitches are the ones to choose. Like to fight? Then go for clickable (micro) buttons, gives more control and feeling for doing all kinds of combo's.
But generally I prefer leafswitches.

There is also a lot of difference between microswitch ones. The Happ-style buttons with Cherry switch vs Japanese all-in-one high sensitive Sanwa and Seimitsu buttons.

Thanks for the fast responses!
I actually ended up finding these:

They're called Micro-Leaf switches. They work as a sort of "plug-and-play" substitute to leaf switches, and fit standard into HAPP-type buttons.
However, they still are quiet and low-force switches, and are smaller than any other switch out there, as far as I've seen for arcade machines.
