Hi,
I can buy two of the new JROK boards (see PM below), but will only want one for myself. If someone wants the second one PM me.
"Hello,
The new v1.1 version of the WSF multi-williams boards are now shipping. So I'm getting back to the folks who've expressed an interest. I'm limiting boards to two per-person right now to try and make sure everyone gets one.
The supported game list is: Defender, Defender White ROM, Stargate, Joust, Robotron, Bubbles, Splat, Blaster, Sinistar, Sinistar AMOA.
Final pricing on the boards is $195/ea + shipping
Your stat's list your location as Germany, there are two shipping options
Express Mail with takes 3-5 days: $34.96 for one board, $37.03 for two boards
International Priority Mail: $34.75 for one or two boards.
Both include insurance.
I can take payment through paypal to xxxxxxx@$$$$$$.co.uk and the board will ship within a week.
I'll also take payment through a money order. If paying through paypal PLEASE let me know your KLOV name so I can keep everyone aligned.

Yeah I had the PM about a week ago too but kindly turned it down....the first gen one I have from him is still working brilliantly and have no purpose for the new ones. I also totally hate people buying these and trying to sell them for a big profit in two years time, so I passed.
I'm saving my money for what I pray will be Jrok's next miracle PCB: the Q*ber/Muli-Mylstar board........

Projected release is mid-September and the price point is $150.
Love : wtf with the price you've given ?
-
Those are the prices that Jrok set. I have the same message from Jrok.
I think:
a) price of parts have gone up (they have!)
b) maybe Jrok wanted a LITTLE bit more because assholes were buying them ONLY to sell them two years later for a HUGE profit....killing the spirit of the arcade collectors community.
I love that Jrok did another run because now those who tried to sell the old one's have NO market anymore !
These boards are worth every single dollar you spend on them, he could have asked much more....try getting a working reliable Joust or Robotron board-set from scratch from the US.....that will cost much more AND is a lot less reliable, plus no other games...

I am not that dumb, am I?
Copy + paste. Peace + harmony. Take + care.

By the way, where did you find that $150 quote ?
-
AH, I found it, it is in the initial posting by Jrok on KLOV forum:
http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=61572&highlight=jrok
Maybe look at the date of that posting...08-25-2008, over 4 years ago (has it really been that long already....damn !)....that price was an _indication_ for the FIRST version of this board. I think it ended up costing $165 IIRC. It's a freaking bargain...
Anyway, Love was trying to help out here/save some costs....not try to make a quick buck....
-
Love : no, you are not!
I thought that the $150 was the right price, but André has said it all.

Glad we cleared that up ;D
