We've been there today with my crazy collector friend and had a great time. :D
Unfortunately the situation was the same with Cebulba's, taking pics with flash was not allowed (there were security guards everywhere) and in that dark basement non-flash pics are totally suck. :-\
BUT i could take some sneaky pics from these gems. ;D

Hey, thanks for risking your life for picturing these ones  ;)

These cells pictures aren't all the same than the one I've seen in the Game On @ London:arrow:

Some more pics

We also had the unique chance to have a nice chat with Barry Hitchings, one of the oraganizers of this exhibition, he is a really nice guy a huge fan of arcade videogames. :D
He asked us, if I we can help him to get a B/W TV chassis for the Space Invaders, I already sent him a mail about the possibilities. :D

No Problem, we are Dragon's Lair Fans, aren't we? ;D ;D ;D
That pic with the castle was also there, but I didn't see the others, seems like they change the stuff from time to time.

I missed it in Tilburg YEARS ago....I wasn't even into "the" hobby yet...but I really wanted to go, then forgot about it....
I missed it in Brussels too....

The thing is....I am now so spoilt that I either play these games pretty regularly or I even own them ;)

Still would like to go...I love how they set-up the consoles and computers, behing glass, but still playable and on a CRT TV...that's how it's done ! :)

the time I have been there at the Science Museum London, most of the games were emulated and even the controllers were not the original ones.

My pictures from 2007 can be found on our german kultpower board at http://www.kultpower.de/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2710&p=24204&hilit=game+on+london#p24204
I loved that Star Wars cockpit ;-)

Most of the old stuff was long gone or out of order (e.g. the TRON being pictured) and they hat 20+ PS2 stations....with more focus on the releases of the new ps3 and Xbox 360 then.
Seems at least Lara survived the world trip.

Few days ago opened a game museum in Italy, Rome - vigamus - anybody has been there, yet?

Hah, now I know what Barry looks like. Been chatting with him on Skype, and he is a real plane addict I guess. Skyped with him in 5 different cities already.

Yeah, really nice guy and he can talk without a break for hours. ;D
I also saw him playing Track & Field, he is a real pro, even in that totally  unplayable original cabinet with those hollow buttons. ;D
