A nice vacation to Eurocade
« on: September 11, 2011, 01:26:05 PM »
Everything started with this strange message ???
Greetings Programs:

Be there.
No replies.
More later.

Hmmm., for the first sight just strange numbers, but as I'm a big fan of Tron and I like riddles, it didn't last longer than a few minutes to figure it out. ;D
The first three numbers were a date: 3 september 2011.
The next two numbers are the coordinates of Ridderkerk, The Netherlands.
After a few minutes I replied to André and informed him, that he can count on us. ;)
Let's start the story of this beautiful roadtrip.
Originally we were planned to start on Wednesday, but we had an instant idea to spend a night in Wien and have some fun there. ;D
Final cleaning and loading the cab and "some" other arcade stuff:

This time we shared one portion of Ully's favourite food, but we were unable to eat it all ;D

Ideal roadtrip conditions in the first 200 kms, nice weather, empty roads

Entering Germany

As always, road constructions in every 20 km.

And after 700 kms of driving this day, we arrived to our nice lakeside hotel in the outskirts of Frankfurt

In the evening we've met Zita's friends Björn and Stefi in downtown Frankfurt, there was a huge wine festival there

I received a message from André just a few minutes before we arrived, I called him from the hotel and arranged unloading.
Let's go meet the guys at the clubhouse.
André, Pieter, Robin and Erik were there and they were so curious about my overloaded car. ;D

Let's unload the Space Pirate

18+ ;D

We also visited the source of the river Danube (Donau), it is interesting for us, because this river splits our capital to Buda and Pest.
The river at Triberg:

And in Budapest:
