Wow...
Very well documented Site. Great Idea, especially the real PCB on the Rear under Plexi.

The Guy on the PacMan looks like Peter Falk in his Columbo-Outfit.

Technical Area / Re: Ic tester
« on: October 30, 2012, 01:36:11 AM »
Seems to be an easy and quick way to determine good/functioning TTLs. Since most of the replacement parts are collected/bought through ebay-auctions and therefore you never know the real 'age' of those parts i consider buying one of these testers. Alas they seems to be out of stock by this seller. What is the exact name of this device?

Oh my god, André,

I've managed to resist the tantalizing urge to order the self-replicating 3D-Printer 'reprap' last year

http://www.reprap.org/wiki/RepRap

and now you show me THIS.

Gladly I'm out of money (thanks to Love and his Container bonanza)  :D ;)

Everyone who order this jewel of modern technology please post reviews and pictures.

All the rest / Re: TV Series
« on: September 15, 2012, 01:57:38 AM »
My fav TV-Series:
Red Dwarf (hillarious english humour, over 20 Years old, but still funny (the 10th Season aired 2010))
Life on Mars
Dexter, Breaking Bad
as TV-Snack on the fly: Eureka and Warehouse 13 (not much thinking required, therefore very funny)
for a good laugh: Big Bang Theory (Sheldon is the best, bazinga!)

I also like Monk, Dr. House, and Inspector 'just one more thing' Columbo

I prefer buying the series on DVD rather than get insulted by that crappy commercial-breaks.

Yeah, the Centipede Cabaret-Cab even got the same size 2"-Trackball. It plays and looks like its bigger brother.

Which one?
The small Cabaret-Cab or one of the two Uprights  ;) 8)

All the rest / Hello from outer space

Hi Guys,
finally i got the guts to register here.....
My name is Dirk (really) and i'm a good friend to Luigi (Thorsten). As most of you (i suppose), i'm over 40 years old now, in the 'golden Age' of Arcade i've played MoonPatrol, Pengo, DonkeyKong, Defender etc. at our local 'Imbiß-Bude'.
I've been collecting Arcade games since 2005, in fact, Luigi awakened the long time hibernating arcade-virus through the introduction of a mamed Unicab way back in 2004.
I live in Germany (south-west near Karlsruhe or Mannheim), since my teen years i am a big StarTrek fan (so the Nickname, even in school i was called 'Kirk' in resemblance of my real name 'Dirk').

In the german forums my nick is the same.

Greetings from hot SW-Germany,

Dirk
