...the cabinet was or was intended to be a Konami Tactician (I had to look it up on KLOV - never heard of it). I had a quick look in the manual and it does indeed match the cab (wired with a Konami -> Zaxxon adaptor). Curious to know if Tactician had a dedicated control panel plexi and marque...

the bezel in the flyer looks like what zacc used for zaxxon indeed, and also spacestation mini cabinet is used

The only difference i can spot from the flyer is the coindoor, not typical zacc, and the marquee is changed

I think also the CP is changed, but the bezel is there

Never heard of it also, did anyone tried it in mame ?  or better does it exists in mame ?

Looks like Zaxxon & Tactician were a sibling pair by NSM-Lowen, then. The stamping on the manual is hinting it left the Zac factory as Tactician and then was possibly converted to Zaxxon at NSM or later as an op kit. I can't quite make out from the flyer what the Tactician CP plexi and marque was really like. Definately the same cab though.

Finished this one that should be in the Northwest Pinball and Arcade Show (http://nwpinballshow.com/) this coming June.

The restoration page now also includes a scan of the monitor glass to go with the prior scans of the control panel and (fractured) marque.



I've put in 10 games for the show this year, a new record for me and I hope at least most of them will go the distance. Wish me luck, I'm going to need it

The show rents trucks that travel around and collect cabs from the volunteers. They're then delivered back after the show. I'll be doing my own wrapping before loading
