I found this online, I am not the one who took the photo. But I wanted to share it with you.
The picture is taken on a street in Hong Kong. The abandoned Astro City looks very sad, but at the same time I think it's a beautiful picture. This is where its life ended.

It's not that bad. The Astro is 90% plastic. The substance looks not bad, I think this cab can be restored. Maybe the transport might get a little expensive ..

Slowcade: I know exactly what you mean! I get the same feeling when looking at that picture. The picture itself is almost a piece of art. Quite tragic, but beautiful at the same time.

Those two pictures on the top are only cheap illegal Chinese machines, they deserve their fate. (Except the CRTs maybe....)

Even the CRTs are cheap chinese brands (Chungwa, Wei-Ya). I don't feel anything looking at these pics.

I've worked with Chunghwa CRTs (years ago) in VGA monitors and they were not bad quality.

Of course, they have various production runs and offer(ed?) CRTs for lower end markets too.
