i will soon make better pictures of cabinet and restoration, all i can say is that it was pretty hard to get cabinet into my future personnal museum!
The reason? This room is located at the 7th floor without elevator
The nice thing is that i probably got the best view for a gaming room.
It is located in front of the Sacré Coeur in Paris France.
Thanks to my parents for buying this room years ago

Very very pretty. :spaceace:
Haven't seen one of those before in the US. Keep updated on the restoration. I'd love to see how it turns out.
-
Wow, that's a pretty impressive view!!! :spaceace: :spaceace:
-
no problem i will make a short movie of game working
here is a link of a video that shows this cabinet
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7waFiZV0vf4
the original screen is just great and burn free, i really like old japanese crt screens! this one is a Hitachi/Toei 19" color

Should have known I would have waved at you two years ago ;)
Still, 7 stories without elevator....that's even worse than Ully's place !! ;) ;)

Great looking machine! Isn't the control panel and bezel one big piece of plexiglas/perspex on those?
Anybody happen to have a spare Taito 100 Yen coin door insert like that? ;D
-
yes you are right it's one piece of pexiglass, and it's very easy to open
-
I have a stiff neck of looking at pictures in the wrong direction...
-
Love that cab... just got one myself!
Si
-
I like everything better about the Taito SI with one exception: the half-mirror moon set-up on the Midway is simply brilliant...but everything else this one is nicer IMHO.
-
Go for this version for best of both worlds ;):

I have a few chips and scratches like Remi's cab. I wanted to fix those up. Any thoughts?
I understand that all the artwork is vinyl, is that right?
Really nice cab. I have the multigame board installed (Braze) which allows me to play 8 games that were built on this boardset.

Me too

that's a great-looking cabinet indeed!

are you sure it is vinyl? looks like wood to me ...

I only see a red cross..

weird.
anyway it's fixed now.
I meant the other taito version of the SI part2, the one with the blue moon, neon and red backdrop.
@ simplesi: are you sure it's vinyl? I don't own one but from what I remember it's silkscreened on the wood plank.
-
Definitely sure it's vinyl. Can you see the print work just below the coin door?
-
Ok, good to know!
