This reminds me of a modern version of whack-a-mole that I played not too long ago at the Carrousel arcade in Vlissingen.
Imagine something about the shape and somewhat smaller size of an air-hockey table however instead of the familiar plank with tiny holes there is a large LCD screen in there and a VERY sturdy "touch" screen on top of it.... so....the "moles" are projected on the screen and each player (2) has a "flexible" hammer to play with.
IIRC the first screen was a traditional whack the mole, but after every round you get a lot of various "mini" games involving of course just the hammer, but the variations are extremely fun to play.
Does anybody know the name of that game ? It must be rather recent...
