A lot of detailed work :) Will you add sticks as well? What did you use for the t-molding?

Aaand you should try to use a different light source than the flash of your camera  ::)

yeh deffo not using the flash again lol, yes i'll be making mini controls tonight and adding the decals, for the t-molding I used something called rexlace. My favourite part is the real plexiglass ive used. 2mm thick and cuts with scissors :)

Looks far better with the artwork, amazing :)

Would it be possible to add a tiny LED to illuminate the 'cardboard'?

Its made from 2mm thick basswood...however i have considered using the perspex i have for the marquee area..that would light up

You could light up the 'monitor area' from above, with an LED from above. I have 3mm and 5mm ultraviolet LEDs. If you want, I can send you a small battery holder for a button cell battery with resistor two wires soldered to either the 3mm or 5mm UV-LED. You can drill a 3/5mm hole above the 'monitor' and push the LED inside to light the graphics :)  All you have to do is place the battery holder in the base of the cab and make it accessible for switching on and replacing the battery if necessary.

Can you tell me how high your model is, so I know how long the wires have to be :)

edit: I just realized something....I guess you glued the parts together? If you did, how would you be able to drill a hole in the marquee area?  ???

its 6 and half inches in size, I wouldn't be able to use it for this model but could always incorporate it into my next one

OK, so it would be better to not use UV-LED? Maybe we should wait for what model you will build next, then we know what colour would be the best :)

OK, so let me know what LED you need. Please keep in mind: this is only a 3V button cell battery and I have to use a resistor to limit the current. Otherwise the LED would empty the battery within minutes ;)  The LED won't shine too bright due to this!
