You don't happen to have a centipede you're contemplating on letting go do you?  ::)

Well, the advertisement itself had all the signs, but communication with the marktplaats one went something like this
Q: could you tell me what kind of monitor is currently installed in the cabinet?
A: ????????? A good one !!!

Right, on to the uk it is :)

Thanks for the links guys. I'll check out the marktplaats ones, but the UK ones from jammaplus seem way nicer as it seems. I will email him, see what the shipping options are and if that's doable. I said half size but maybe that's a bit on the small side, it doesnt have to be exactly half sized.

For monitors i'm flexible, i don't have any arcade or inframe monitors else i'd use those, i do have some 17" PC CRT's or commodore 1084's and +-37cm trinitron tv's around so i'd  like to use those. Most likely the 17" PC monitor if possible, would be much easier to connect to emulation and for me personally i'm happy running that in 640*480 with scanlines.

I dont really have the woodworking skills to make it as nice as i would want is, plus with a kid i'm happy i can squeeze in a few games a week let alone build something like that :) Eurocade does look nice, i've checked it in the pre-hilversum days and it seemed to be pretty closed to people that bring cabs back then. I'll check to see the current rules for visitors, thanks for the tip :)

'Business' Area : Buy/Sell/Trade / WTB replica half-size arcade cabinet
« on: August 11, 2015, 06:12:21 PM »
A picture says more than 1000 words; basically i'm looking for a smaller replica of a bigger cab (pacman, galaga, something else?) a bit like this:

Not really any requirements, but must run a CRT or be able to have one mounted by me, and in good cosmetic shape. Any tips where to get one in Holland or not far from it are welcome!

I would be interested if the price was right, but for example i've seen final fight tested in good condition go for 100 or slighly over; these seem a little over the top for untested

'Business' Area : Buy/Sell/Trade / -gone- [FS] GDEMU board
« on: September 07, 2014, 02:02:18 PM »
I have 1 or 2 of Deunan's GDEMU boards left as spare that i might as well sell. Im not prepared to take a loss though, so selling for 110 euros excluding postage. (they cost 110 incl postage new)

No interest, retracting this from sale and putting it on the rainy-day pile. Item no longer for sale.

Hi ,

Thanks for the offer guys, but im more looking at a finished stick-bartop that is plug and play without any work, no projects that i wont get round to doing :) I have both hori and vert games i want to play and im happy with 640*480 with slg so orientation and low/high res isnt an issue. Examples of what im looking for approx:

The popeye was for sale earlier in the year (if thats the same one), but the seller indicated he didnt use RGB but component or something for the monitor. So that wasnt ok... in that respect

Those look nice, but seem LCD-only. No CRT models on site. I've sent you a pm for more info!

I'm looking for a nice (preferably 1 player) bartop with a +- 14 inch CRT screen. Doesnt really matter if its VGA or low-res. Before i send something off to get CNC routed i thought it would be best to check here first if someone has something for sale.

You think it's better than Toshiba PF? If so in what way?

Long live to RGB on CRT!   :-*

You did use a 31khz crt right? Can you detail more how you installed it? I think i tried to decase the same model for a project before, and ended up messing something up because it was hard to take out the tube and attached board from the shell

Thing is, with kids and a job i wouldnt get round to any major work on cabs within a reasonable amount of time. At this point i just want to play in the time i do have :)
