Actually went and visited that "Kringloop winkel" yesterday since I practically live
next door to it.
Seems the guys running that place have no idea whatsoever what arcade related stuff is worth.

That was the only interesting item they had though.

Whoo, another Outrun Deluxe Sitdown for sale at a 'Kringloop winkel' (2nd hand shop) which means they got it for free because the former owner threw it away!

Been to a similar shop last month near Zutphen (picked up a Playstation 2 blue kiosk cabinet).
As far as I understand they get it for free...selling it for charity.

Would love to have a sit Down but I'm officially running out of space these days

by the way... if everything goes as planed i will have an elevator access to my basement in one or two weeks. this will make everything so much easier.

Yes they get it for free but I'm not all that sure about the charity part. Some of these Kringloopwinkels have turned into complete businesses where the lines between charity and profit seem to be getting smaller and smaller....

They also seriously hurt initiatives like our yearly flea-market in which we try to earn some cash for the club...we get less (good) stuff offered because of them.

I've only been to one in Utrecht and usually the indicated prices are completely nuts.
