Great progress Erik! - though, why did´nt you put in a heating floor????

I will, in the final floor:

..... To be precise, the floor will be build up like this:
1. thin plastic layer (you can see it on the pics)
2. 5 cm. insulation
3. 12 cm concrete in which a 6mm2 steel wire frame is embedded (the wire frame is put on bricks, and therefore 'floats' 6 cm above the insulation
4. again 3-4 cm pressure resistant insulation on which the floor heating tubes will be attached
5. 6-7 cm cement floor, which will be smoothened out (vlinderen) on the surface. In this cement floor a 4mm2 steel wire frame will be placed.

Last week I had to remove some small trees which were standing in the way of the shed. so, on a Wednesday afternoon my 'gardner boy' and I removed 7 of them. It went pretty quick. Here are some pics of the last one:

After a few hours we were done, and this is the result

But an hour later everything was cleaned up and I had 3 large piles of branches etc.

The piles will be there until Easter next year, when we have the annual Easter Fire:

Here are some more pictures of this tradition: http://www.contact-barchem.nl/Paasvuur_2010.html

We also have this tradition in our small villages in Belgium, every year around March  :)
And to be more precise, the people who light the fire are the last couple married of the year.
Because my wife and I got married late in December... the honor was our, see my wife  ;D

Nope, this is not the Burning Man, this is the huge fire in my village  ;D

 :)

Well yes, I stumbled and fell. But nothing happened because we did saw the tree down in two parts. The pictures are of the second part, only a couple of meters of trunk were left. So nothing could happen. I just pulled the rope becaue I didn't want the trunk to fall on the foundation.

By the way, this wasn't the last tree, as I mentioned. I just noticed that the tree right behind the chansaw murderer sawyer was really the last one.

Looking great Erik! :spaceace:
Remember to install a door that´s at least 100CM wide!! (but i´m sure you're going to use you garage door for transporting games in and out)

The door will be 93 cm wide. I won't be able to transport games through the garagedoor to the gameroom because there will be a wall between the garage and the gameroom. However, I probably will make a door also in that wall.
