Hmmm, it's 18+, the kids shouldn't take a look at this! ;D

I wonder how the colours are in the new Tron. The old one was really multicolor. The images I see of the new movie all seem monochromatic. Just different levels of blue, blue and more blue.

18+ ?

For a couple of nipples ? Haha, not 18+ here my friend :)

Nice pics.

There's also grey and black in the new Tron. Apart from blue, blue and blue. :P
Seriously: I think the baddies were yellow from what I remember from the preview.

Pretty envious of the Belgian guys, movie already premieres there today ! We have to wait until deep in january. I think this will mean a trip to Kinepolis Antwerp

It about shows how much Disney Holland expects from this movie to hold it until well passed the holiday season....:(

Official Belgian release is January 19th. There are a couple of previews here and there but that's all, most people will be waiting too.

Why launch it next to New Kids Turbo? They don't want empty seats with TRON.

I just saw the movie in 3D and it rocksssss! ;D
I guess most of the people here in Hungary didn't understand the real meaning and the inheritance of this film, because most of the feedbacks from previous movie visitors were negative. :o
As Andre said before the 3D tech. is not the best we ever saw, but this movie has a unique atmosphere (especially for arcade collectors ;D) and music is also great.

Seen it!!! And, what can I say???

I guess, it's just Tron. It's mandatory that we DLF members see it... Not the best movie ever, but the music, the images, the special effects and the atmosphere made it a fun evening. Even my wife liked it!!!

I went to see Tron yesterday with a couple of buddys. I really liked it. Its not the best movie ever, or even e great movie, but there's just something about it thats impressive. I love Daft Punk and it was awesome to see them in the movie!

My turn... I saw it last night!

I totally love it  :-* :-* :-*

Great ambiance (I especially love the transition between action scenes with electronic musics & the quiet/aesthetic/zen Flynn's room ambiance), visuals are stunning! Sometime so violent/speed/modern (the light cycles duel, disc fight in the Huuuuuuge arena, or the fight in Castor's club), sometime so quiet/retro :the Flynn's room sequences, all white (even a vintage light cycle). The girls are so gorgeous, especially Gem  :-*
I also like the scenario, a great follow up to the first movie...but you HAVE to see the first movie, or you'll be completely lost!
I only have on regret... I didn't see it in 3D  :'( I'll have to see it once again for that  ;)

In one word, I'm more than happy with this move  :)

For the guys who saw it:

Do you think I can bring my (almost) 9 year old son to this?

To paint the picture: He's seen all SW movies EXCEPT the lava-scene where Annakin almost dies....for obvious reasons.
I also prefer him not to watch Harry Potter but he's seen 1 and 2 at a friend's....

So that's where I stand, wether you agree or not. I do think he should watch the original first and I think that's completely OK for him.

The thing is that it is strange, you never know what they find scary. Long after he had seen most SW stuff we watched Apollo 13 when it was on TV and I thought that would be 0 scary for him (no wacky aliens, shooting etc.) but that night he woke up two times telling he dreamt he was lost out in space in a spaceship.....he never dreamt after seeing SW....

I'd really like to go with him to Tron. I keep imagining my dad would have taken me to the first Star Wars, but he was never into SF...but I would have loved that. I was ten !!!!

I think times have also changed a lot. I know a lot of young children see all kinds of movies and play all kinds of games, some I totally disagree with.

O by the way, my son is a great movie watcher. I mean he has always been very focussed on the movie and has the patience to sit them out without getting restless or talking all the time...

Pffff, I would say it is okay to go although it is rated 12. There are no titties  :-\ but there is a certain amount of violence at particular moments...

I disagree that you should have seen Tron before going to this one, it can be viewed perfect without getting lost IMHO.... Or maybe I should see the first one again ???

Have fun, it's always fun to go to the movies with your kid(s).
