Hey Arcaders,
long time ago i baught a G-Loc Deluxe cab..
The owner told me it is working ; only the CRT is broken.
When I opened it up (this summer) i found a lot of grass; dirt; and dead rats in it!
All control LED (POwer indicators) are glowing ; Mainboard; Motor Boards; all fans are on;
but unfortunately; the game does not boot up.
I talked a lot with "irepairsega" in USA ...Ken; but in his oppinion the mainbord PCB of the game is fried.
As i wastet years for repairing my Thunderblade Cab; before i just put a raspery (retropie4) into it and connected all the inputs to the Xbox360 controller (works great).
also Afterburner one and two; abd AB Cop are now on that cab; as it is quite similar.
this time i do not want to waste years on trying to find parts that will never work.
SO the question is; does anyone know how these MOTORS "really" work? wiring ? technical documentation?
I ordered some power units from china; 80V to 110V choosable;
I will try by myself ; and try to find out what the wires mean;
one guy from youtube meant, it is ; one for the direction; three for the speed; with 5v? maybe...
so the idea is ; using Retropie; i can simulate the G-Loc Mame; check....alredy working; all inputs from the cab with a X-Box controller; ....check working;
maybe the emulator puts also out the information in 8bit (because there is a AD DA compiler in the machine) ; i wrote a lot of questions to the forum of the emulator software; we will see;
second ; easy plan;
i take the three wires from the joystick (potentiometer) and go to an arduino; that controlles 2 new electric motors; but ? 12,5Nm electric motor enough? we will see

any ideas; help ?
i think this could bring back a lot of these cabs to life;
and all original parts can be still inside; or can be put into again easily.
i will try to find a location for pictures that will not be thrown away after some weeks and post them; i hate free picture upload pages!
