You do realize that Hello Kitty is an illegal bootleg of our very own Dick Bruna's Nijntje (Miffy) right ?

I didn't know ! I'll cheggit out.
I was in Japan for the 35th anniversary, btw did you know that in Japan you don't say Hello Kitty but hAllo kitty ? In fact, Hello is very close to "ero" which means the pervert kitty. I had some misunderstandings during the first day of my trip :D

I should have done this a long time ago.

I'm the padawan who came with Nuno for the Darth Maul and the Popeye/Bulk Nintendo cab trip. I'll be lurking a lil' bit here :)

I do not possess any game cabs, not enough room space :/ But I'm a big fan of all pixellated thingies, beginning with Amstrad CPC6128 onto the Snes and beyond.
I also like :

-Burger King (yes, really)
-Asian junk food (Pepsi Azuki, Alguae chips, durian cakes, etc...)
-Video Game Music (Bought Original 8-bit version CD of Outrun / Space harrier in Akihabara, Tokyo, and currently listening Ridge Racer 7 Direct Audio)
-Hello Kitty (don't ask)
-Sci-Fi novels (latest : Gears of War)

I know I sound like the creepy otaku type but I can be a perfect gentlemen when needed.

Cya !

ps  : I'm currently single so Ladies feel free to contact me by PM :o

;D ;D + WOW!!!
Super cool story and welcome to Mr Maul & carbonite Solo in Belgium.
What a crazy place... do you know if he sells lifesize Jabba too?
I'm sure my girlfriend would love to see our green friend next to the 23 arcade monitors boxes in our home entrance hall  ;D

We asked for the lifesize Jabba, but it wouldn't fit the Nunoship :o
I came short of getting back with an original V commando costume and a Greedo mask....

Arcade Lifestyle / Re: I'm building my personal Gaming Room...

I don't know if mine's bigger, but Bruno has got the games!!  ;D   (my game room is more video game collectibles than actual arcade cabinets)

I'm curious about this type of foundation,  How come you can't just pour concrete?  Like I was wondering before, is this type of foundation due to where you live, the climate etc...  especially curious about those pipes coming out of the foundation??

Hi,
The soil here isn't sufficiently stable to just pour concrete on it. And it must cope with the load caused by those cabinets....
The pipes are needed to evacuate water vapor and avoid excess humidity going up from below.

I just hope Nuno will not underestimate the power of "modern" insulation
