I think they're not VP series monitors. Neckboard looks more like 15/24 Intervideo Dual Frequency! VP neckboards only have 3 pots...

[EDIT] looks to say A51 so at least it's a TV/low-res grade tube....that seems good news...

Just checked Andreas' site and the Dual Frequencies came only in 25" and larger CRTs according to the service manual:

I _must_ know if it's low-res 15kHz ...the VGA one's are a "dime a dozen".....

I sent him a message. The pictures show a manual, schematics, Intervideo sticker and a Thompson CRT sticker.
I asked for pictures of all of those...there is no reason to be unclear about it....

I also find it scary that I don't see the back side (where the VGA connector usually is, and nothing of the text says something about low-res/med-res or CGA/VGA....

Did the seller reply quickly to you yesterday ? I know it's sunday but no answer yet.

The whole set-up seems to be intentionally vague....I'm getting uneasier by the minute about this.....the thing is we have no way to argue the item is not according the description.....it was late last night and had to make a quick decision but I should have taken a closer look on the ad for sure.....

Do some of our Italian friends know this seller ?

I asked via ebay and he replied via ebay, so the answer is saved in the ebay-system which means we're safe. I asked the question 3 days ago and he replied yesterday night. He seems to be a just another busy guy, I wouldn't panic. :)

Edit: Also he has an ebay shop. He doesn't need negative feedback from 3 people and 3 paypal dispute cases, that's for sure.

Sure, it's a monitor 15 khz intervideo VP series! It is absolutely not a VGA monitor, do not worry! ^ _ ^
Tomorrow I can do manual scan and the sheet with the wiring diagram, ok?
Meanwhile, I am attaching a photo of the back to you, so you know immediately that it is a VGA monitor!
If you look at the photo of the manual that you see is the VP series!
