Heheh, thanks guys :)

Is it perfect ? No.

In the sunlight, which was shining across the sides yesterday, I could see that the wood is not perfectly flat. There are some bumps, probably created by the sanding I did and I never noticed them without the paint....another lesson learned, but as long as it's in a gameroom no-one is going to see it.

Also, the side-art has been stored for quite some time and in a tube that was not long enough  for the artwork. Following this some wrinkles had come on the edge on one side and it shows if you look closely.

It is as it is. So that's the second lesson learned.

I'm quite pleased though....it looks amazing, factory fresh in general :)

Getting some GOOD black paint that I can roll tonight, I really want to leave that part behind me. Next time, I will also start with the black.

It's great to be in the "build up" fase now :)

I'm actually on the point of going back to the store and showing it to them and demand my money back. Paint is crazy expensive these days.....and the product is not what the cover claims it to be.....

It's like a freaking mirror !!

I think I'm going to order some black mattt Oracal vinyl....I'm done with painting the Q*bert........

Mmm, I tried removing one or two bubbles exactly the way I did like with the Ms.Pac Man side art but this time the cuts stay visible (although tiny) so I just stopped.....

Maybe I _should_ try the "wet" method next time.....maybe when I receive the Oracal 631  :D

wet worked fine when i tried it for the first time with the gorf sidearts. it is save and you get the water dand the bubbles out with no worries. i only used water. nothing else.
