Yes, there are lots of parts in this cab, that's why she is beautifull too  :)

I just want to buy :
CPO : 45$
side art : 169$
Iner art : 45$
Complete control pannel used : near 50/70$
Miway coin door : I've one
I've already bought the repro joystick handle (it was near 30 eur)

It's near 220 eur + shipping just for the cosmetic.

100$+shipping for the board. (not 250$)

but it´s not every day you come across a Mint TRON in europe...

Muerto?

are you sure?!

do you check ebay.co.uk in the weekend's?

1 tron cab was right there for sale last week,

still 1 is available from the huge stock from chattanooga (posted on the forum last week)

Tron in Europe it is not so rare are as you might think..

Just ask for it , as bruno said about pong availabilty search through the collector's network

and you'll find one in Europe near to you

gameover can be a good start for you since you are in Denmark, right?

gameover are french so it would be easy for you to get one right there

Lot of collectors join their forum

Instead Pong or computer space seem to be really rare..

Anyway,

We are all fans but must be aware of what you are going to deal with

So here some people's experience who had fought with it (as I did)

http://www.solvalou.com/messages_view.php?mid=491

Just to mention few..

Soon you'll have restored one you'll see it with a different sight (jean with the missing package is starting.. my good luck mate it will be a tough work but in the end you'll succeed )

To answer your question a mint tron cab is this one

http://cgi.ebay.com/Restored-Midway-Tron-Classic-Arcade-Game-SUPER-NICE_W0QQitemZ260522528764QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item3ca85a4ffc

on practical things I get used in this sector (since I work in it if you don't know) to be for professional deformation extremely precise

This doesn't mean that I've lost passion, but

I would to help passionate people you to focalize first where the problem are when looking at beautiful machines like tron is

my friend be aware of your estimates

As long as I know a tested working Tron board (since I looked after it for 1 year) is around 150~200 from Anthony (quaterarcade.com) or arcadeparts.com

Maybe $100 on ebay.com but in this case the sellers (of course) don't give you any refund in case it doesn't work or don't arrive at all

as happend to you

-Control panel has additionals holes, a guy in the usa has send it one complete to me but it never arrive in france :?

You get what you give,

Anyway keep us informed with the restoration of the cab step by step so you can update your story

and if you need an help you know where is the bell to ring ;)

Good luck

Mav

Little hint: to avoid missing packages use UPS

it will save you angry moments

Yes now, I will use USPS,

I purchaze the parts on klov forum and ebay, that's why my estimatation is lower.
But my tron working pcb prize was wrong, I've verified and it's 125/150$ + shipping on the forum klov.
Thanks for told us your experience and I think it's true that before restoring this machine we can't know how much it's long, difficult and expensive because of all the parts she has.

I think we have to return to the initial subject of the topic now  :)

Yes, back on track please  8)

Ok, for me 2009 was an incredible year in term of 'Arcade Life Style', for example :

- Meeting with Fred 'ArcadeFever' and ... Billy 'Pac Man' Mitchell in Miami + meeting with Barry 'Sonic 1992' inside the world famous private game room called 'Yesterdays' in Houston.
- Visiting the FunSpot in NH, simply the largest Arcade in the world !
- Vierzon 2009 exhibition in France was also awesome!

Got two games on the top of my 'must have' list : Q*Bert & BurgerTime  :-*

What else? ... yes... Got laser disc "Project Dragoon" for my Galaxian Theater... chance for finding that are almost null... But I got it :P :-*

And I'm still very happy to see all of you coming back on this website, for sharing a lot of things  :-* Thanks you  :-* :-* :-*

Wow, that's a cool cab!

Are there 3 monitors in there? Or what are those mirrors for?

Ully : it's just a 1/2 larger than Power Drift in fact : you can move it quite easily (about 160kg) !

petieken : thanks, there is 3 monitors inside (3 X 14inchs), no mirror.

Ah, I see now, the monitor setup is a bit like F355 challenge (DLX).

You're lucky it's weight is 'only' 160kg ;D

Good luck with that cab, it appears to be in pretty good shape!

Ully ;D, wheels can help, you know :D.

That's exactly the same setup than F355 petieken, and I'm happy with that "little" 3 screens cab .
