bet you already spotted this one:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Namco-Pole-Position-Cockpit-Arcade-Video-Game-Project-/231474099854?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item35e4ee768e

Namco version, will look nice next to your Namco Galaxian   8)

I managed to snag that one! Incredibly the second Namco PP I've owned. This one is more complete than the last one I had though and really is just cosmetics and a PCB fix :)

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone  :) It's amazing just how many of my cabs I haven't got recent (or decent!) pictures of. I'll rectify that and get some up shortly...

Hello my friend - those boards are about to be installed in Star Wars cockpit number #3.

Damn.

I swear I'm keeping this one! I have the repro art from ToG on pre-order :)

Hi all,

I've been a member of other forums and an avid collector for about 5 or so years now but for some reason I just never quite got around to joining up here  :-[ I've got quite a few machines; certainly not as many as some but my collection is quite varied and thanks to a very understanding girlfriend I'm still finding space to fit new purchases in! My first machine was an Out Run upright, which I bought on a whim to put in the dining room in a bare corner. That cab was also my first restoration. You can't have an Out Run though without an After Burner next to it (it's the law apparently ;) ), so then I bought a nice upright cab. Then I bought some more cabs and the dining room table had to go to make room. When the Dining Room was full I branched out into the second bedroom, so the bed and cupboards and chair had to go. That's now a gaming room. The lounge? Clearly that needed a Star Wars cab to 'finish it off.'

Years later, I find cabs in the hallway and at the current count I have 25 of them. I'm very lucky (depending upon if you are a fan I guess), to own 3 Space Harrier's; an upright, a mini and the moving Dlx; it's my favourite game of all time.

My claim to fame is that, using the excellent repair guide on here, I recently managed with the help of another member to fix the Phillips LD player in my Firefox upright, so I have a fully working original cab. (It's a nice story; the cab was found unloved in a barn...)

So, I'm looking forward to reading all of the threads on DLF and saying hello to a few people along the way  :)

My current cab list <all working, touch wood>:

After Burner
Chase HQ
Egret II
Egret III
Firefox
Gauntlet
Konami Windy II
Mini Cute
Naomi Universal x 2
Operation Wolf mini
Out Run 2
Out Run
Planet Harriers
Return of the Jedi
Sega Rally (twin)
Space Harrier (mini)
Space Harrier (UR)
Space Harrier (Dlx)
Space Invaders Cocktail
Star Wars UR
Star Wars Cockpit
Super Hang-On
System 1 (Temple of Doom kit)
Tempest (cocktail)
Virtua Fighter 2 (dedicated)

Cheers!

Phil.

Nice to see a Space Harrier high score thread on here guys. Wow, 2010 seems like such a long time ago now. The machine I got the WR on is still sat here at the side of me and gets played often! My record is a little higher now but I'm not sure where this goes next, now that TG has gone  :'(

Superb - thanks for sharing - I was hoping this would be resurrected :)

Not my project, but just found out about this on the KLOV forum.
