Does anybody know or have bought from this eBay seller:
Joefr74
http://www.ebay.fr/usr/joefr74?_trksid=p2047675.l2559
I bought an Asteroids board from him and paid immediately when he accepted my offer.
Next I waited for several days without any "shipped" message so I sent him a message through eBay when he was going to ship.
He posted on august 27 that it would be shipped that evening but the status on eBay of the tracking number is still "Shipment information received". It never went to "in transit".
It is now september 7 and still nothing....this is from France people....should be here within a day 2/3....maybe 4.
Also, when I enter the tracking number on www.laposte.fr the number is unknown (at least, as far as I understand the French.
-
... Sound like you been screwed, I would get my money back asap!!!
-
I've spent over 400e with him.. Still waiting for it to turn up.
-
I don't know him, you can send me the tracking information to check it...

Here's what he answered today....
Hello
You packing had been send today, very sorry for the delay. The tracking number is CC645471805FR.
Very sorry because the people who must put the packing in post office had forgotten, so i send it today.
What can i make to repair this problem?

The package sent to the post office on 8th September ::)
-
could be an honost mistake, gladly it;s on it's way now
if the package shows up, calling him a fraud is not fair
-
You are right Patrick but he can request for a feedback revision.
Thanks Franck....mystersy to me why he indicates www.laposte.fr as the shipper then....
I may have jumped to a conclusion too quick here....
-
it's just Eurocaditis, I have it too :)

LOL!!
Glad it seems to be sorted, however, what about Oli´s shipment?
-
I got tracking today too!
-
Mmmmmm....
-
Know what?
I've already bought something from this guy a few months ago and no issue.
But I bought 2 PCBs (a Jungke King and a DK TKG-3) on the 30/08 from him and no news either...
Hopefully my issue will also be resolved soon.
-
Got an answer form him today.
He says he has some backlog that he is currently trying to deal with.
Apparently he's away this week.
Evereything should be sent next week, in my case.
Crossing fingers.
-
Mmmm-mmmm.....still sounds fishy....dunno.....I guess my actions did wake him up properly....so I have no regrets.
As said, IF and WHEN I receive the PCB I will change my feedback for him....but it won't be a raving good one anyway...
-
If one have the time to put an item for sale on Ebay, then he is obligated to ship as fast as possible, max 3 days!, there´s no excuse what so ever    (personal/family emergencies put aside)

I fully agree. ;D
-
It's probably my fault, I actually spent over 550euro, just added it up!
-
The PCB arrived last saturday so I popped it in the Asteroids and it didn't work.
Seller sold it as untested but did mention it was tested succesfully in 2013...
Didn't have time to have a long look, maybe there is a problem with a bad EPROM socket.
The extra PCB is WEIRD. I showed it to Jochen and he noticed there were two wires going to the main PCB for plus and minus and the thirst wire was a look going back to the small PCB again....so how can it even do anything !?!?!?
Strange but....I'm glad as it means I can safely remove it.
-
On my side, I got a tracking number but it is not working yet.
Hopefully tomorrow it's gonna work...

Oh my ... it was only now that I realized it was him that I bought my spare NAMCO Galaxian pcb from a few weeks ago.
Same story ... "untested, but was working when stored in 2013".
Upon arrival, it had a few parts missing, and is very far from being working (clock was dead, now, upon replacing the 74107 at 1D, it has a clock, but keeps watchdogging) .. oh my.
Sorry for not jumping in here earlier, the nickname didn't ring a bell right away.
-
Mmmm.....
He offered to look for another Asteroids board but he can still not test even If he finds one...
This board has zere repairs, I will hook it up to the Fluke and see....the test mode gives some low "bop" sounds which probably means some bad RAMs.

LOL.....Well I've got three here now....should be able to get at least one fully working ;)
-
Yo,
I received all my boards! Packed EXTREMELY well! Top guy in my opinion!!! :spaceace:
-
I received my stuff too.
But 3 weeks for 20 something kilometers, it's one kilometer a day...
A bit slow IMHO.
:)
-
20km ? Why didn't you go and pick it up ??
-
Didn't know where the guy is located.
Only saw it on the Colissimo website when it said "Posted from Paris".
Damned!!!
Next time I'll move my ass.
-
Well when he saw your address he could have mentioned it was so close....
-
Well, some people have serious problems meeting other people. I once replied to an ad. We exchanged some nice (really) emails negotiating the price. After we had come to a conclusion I asked how he should ship the stuff. I told him I could pick it up on my way home from work. Never heard from him again ??? I assume he either was a scammer or he was afraid to meet me. There are lots of those out there and the internet is the best way for them to be part of this world.
This doesn't help here, but might be a possible answer why he didn't tell he's near.
-
To everyone that got their stuff but it was sent late. It could have been my fault as I bought so much.
Some could say he should be more organised or explain it better, but if you're happy to wait a little the guy is 100% honest and trustworthy.

I agree. At least I got my stuff :)
