Pioneer LD-V4300D audio board problem
« on: August 17, 2012, 12:57:53 PM »
Hello,
my Pioneer LD-V4300D laserdisc player developed a fault in the audio board.
The faulty component is a SMD IC made by Sony, a CXD2500Q. As soon as the player is powered up, this IC becomes VERY hot and draws a lot of current, causing the supply line to drop.
I know it's a long shot, but if anyone knows where to find a replacement part, please let me know. I'd take also a whole sound board for this player or a broken player good for parts only if you have it.
Thanks for reading,

Matteo

P.S.
Below a couple of pics that show the faulty IC and the LD-V4300D audio board.
