The seller is the well know Paul50s. 8)
I'm sure some German friends here could negotiate the price ::)
-
:o :o :o
-
i am going to visit him next week :)
-
perhaps we could negotiate a much better price if more than one person would take a cab. for 850 euros for either pac-man, ms pac-man or galaga is exaggerated and way too much to pay for a single cab - well, at least for cabs that aren't that rare!
-
What do you think will be a good price?
-
Well, Pac Mac isn't too hard to catch in Europe because that game was imported, but it was not the case for Ms Pac Man/Galaga.
I got my Ms Pac Man (still to restore) & Galaga from UK, but these games were US imported first.
So there's no real 'market' price for a Ms PacMan/Galaga in Europe unfortunately :-\
-
Oke, I understand. I really like Mrs Pac Man but €850,- is a little bit too much for me right now.
Maybe there is some room for negotiation or maybe we can work something out like Ully said.
-
AAAAAAARGH, I want one, but I don't have 850 euro's, maybe 500 euro.
What a sight! Where did this guy find all these cabs?!
-
What a sight! Where did this guy find all these cabs?!
he deals with stuff like that and imports them from the usa, that's why they are all running on 110 volts. 500 euros would be my max. too, although this still is a lot of money. don't need a pac-man, but a ms. or a galaga would be great! nevertheless, i think i'll pass on this one, i know the items that paul50s has been selling on ebay and the conditions of his cabs don't justify the money he's asking. of course you have to consider the fact that those are imported cabs, therefore the steep price. everyone with too much money to spend though might get happy!
-
I also think it is a lot of money, but it is a very nice cabinet to own, which I think will not loose it's value over time.
Nonetheless, I think I'll just have to dream on.... :ghost: :ghost: :ghost:
-
850 for ONE? I thought it was for the whole lot. Whoa!
-
It is a lot of money indeed, nevertheless it will not hurt my wallet to pay him a visit and to check out the goods, and to discuss a possible 'bulk' buy. He is located pretty nearby my place I believe, and it's always fun to see what someone had got for sale, like with the Belgian Warehouse.
-

if that was the price for the whole ot, i wouldn't be here anymore ;)
-

Haha, you're right. ;D
-
any news on this lot?
-
Damn, Ms. Pac. .....
Damn..... I think it's a pretty reasonable price. Show me a Ms.Pac cab for sale for less......
-
Found this on ebay(USA), he also has a non working Gauntlet for a few bucks:

damn, he refused my €150 offer :P

Nice, but try to ship this one over and you're already much further than 850 euro's....
-
These pictures are really unusual in Europe :

Impressive  :-* ...
A good opportunity for European collector to get the hand on a Galaga or Ms Pac Man cabinet.
-
i agree! - have send him an offer, haven´t herd anything yet..... fingers crossed!!!!!
-
Galaga, who wants Galaga.....
;)
and I think I'll stick to my Puckman booty for now....
-

I'm interested in joining your Bulk. You must me very near if you're near germany too.
-
I want a Galaga, although I like the artwork on Galaxian a lot more.
-
michael and i have offered him a bulk buy price on 5 cabs, if he accepts it i'll let you guys know, perhaps we can work something out with paul which is even better!
-
i am going to visit him next week :)
I made arrangements to visit them tomorrow. I know that most, if not all cabs, have technical issues of some kind, which doesn't has to be a problem if the price is right.
-
erik, don't offer him too high a price, otherwise he won't accept our offer ;) and leave two of those galagas for us ;D
-
Men with Galaxians don't need no Galaga's.
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Erik, give me a price update tomorrow.....maybe, just maybe .........only interested in dedicated Ms. Pac.
-
I know it's the first colour game, and as said before the artwork is great, but the gameplay/graphics are a lot less special, imho.
Anyway, it would be great if we can make a nice deal!
-
Gyruss, I agree with you. I think Galaxian is a must have in a serious cab collection because it's the first game with true RGB colors, but the gameplay of Galaga appeals much more to me.
Best thing is to have both games. :) Let's see what happens tomorrow.
-
exciting times, we are waiting for your report of your trip :ghost: :ghost:
-
Did some community shopping today. Bought a few Galaga's and some Pac-man's and ms. pac-mans. 10 in total. :D :D I guess some, if not most shopping lists have been tackled. I will PM more detailed info to some happy (I hope) new owners tomorrow.
And on top of that I also bought something that has been on my wish list for some time now, for the gameroom: a table football game. not one like you buy at a toy store, but a real quality made heavy bitch. It's new made but it has retro all over it. And it runs on euro's :) If anyone is also interested in this game, Paul has quite a lot of them on stock.
I had some nice chats with Paul, and he really is a nice guy. He is specialized in jukeboxes and pinball machines, and boy, what nice machines he has! :o And he lives at the place! it is like living in your gameroom ;D ;D I will post some photo's soon.
-
Just some nice photo’s from Paul’s place (if you like pinball machines)

Awesome pictures  8)
I'm happy for the new owners of these games, especially Ms Pac Man & Galga cabinets, who are extremely hard to catch without imported them 8)
Hope to see the roadtrip' stories soon ;)

It's unbelievable, I checked several pinball sites today and it seems that Paul has the top 100 of pinball machines in his showroom. :o
I am going to pick up the arcade cabs tomorrow, but I sure will take some more time to admire these machines. I now got some nice arcade cabs for in my gameroom (japanese and classic ones), a table football game, a Star Wars Pachinko, but no pinball (yet). :D
-
fortunately (money-wise), pinball fever hasn't got me yet. i've played a couple of them already, but i don't understand the buzz behind pinballs.

Yes, you definitely need a pinball in your gameroom, next to all your other classics!
I would go for the Super Mario Bros, Star Wars or Adams Family.
