Zaccaria Coin PCB 1B1185 - Coin Signal
« on: February 01, 2014, 04:49:18 PM »
Hi Folks,

I have tried to reassemble one of my cabs.

Everything works fine now, it is a 22Pin harness, so I had to rework the pinout.

The only thing left is the coin signal. like usual it's only one Signal from the PCB.

To my mind it should be on PIN 6, but there is no Signal;-(

It's my only cab with that Coin PCB;-(

Anyone around to confirm the Signal is on Pin 6 and/or 7?

Let me know if you can't repair it, I'm not sure, but I might have a spare one somewhere.

Hi Digi!
Can you explain me the meaning of this card? I relize it's like a "coin counter" manager...but I need more details.

..I have 2 of this PCB... one  have a "Red Button" like yours, the other it's in the photo bleow (without any button).

Its simple, many of the zaccaria's have 3 coinslots, so an operator can decide to accept different coins.

example, 0,50 euro 1 play , 1 Euro 2 plays, etc etc etc

Most of the boards one credit is one credit, you can sometimes adjust the coinage on the pcb, but then its for all coin trigger the same.

so they incorporated this board which allows for different pulses to the coin input of the board per coinshute.

makes sence ?  ;)

wow... i have never seen a coin mechanism with a CPU 8035 (the same processor for sound on a donkey kong /jr boards) and a EPROM.

What the heck are they "processing" ?  :)
there is too much butter on those trays

Soon the photo of my board...but it's look like Digimon's one (button red on the left side near Red & Withe cable).

Thank for explain about this board...finally! I have ask about it in Italian forum but no one was able to explain me the meaning...

In Italy (since I have memory for it) the "universal token", for arcade in bar was the "200 Lire" coin.... I don't remember one arcade machine that accapt a mix of Italian coin...at least multiples of it (for ex.: Dragon's Lair was a pain: usually 2 or more token..)

Only when I passed one summer holydays in south of Italy (Calabria.. about 1986..don't remember exactly the year) I remember a Frogger (not Zaccaria probably) that run with 100 Lire only: half price Arcade play!!

whoops, i did not scroll to the top  ;D

anyway, mine does not have a button, digi, what happens when you push the button ?

Maybe its some kind of service button ?  i have 3 coin switches, and when i flip switch 1, it gives alot of credits without the use of the actual counter.
the other two registers the pulses to the counter.

maybe its for service personel that need to test the game without upping the counter so that the counter matches the real coins inserted ?

anyway, Its in every zacc manual how to adjust individual coinmechs, and also there are sheets of coininsert labels in every manual i have seen.
