All the rest / Initial D Locations?
« on: April 27, 2017, 01:19:40 PM »
Kinda fits here (but please move if not right location) some of you may have seen that I'm running a InitialD blog here in the UK and was thinking of locations that people can play these in the wild. So would like to document these in a Google Map.

However apart from collectors cabinets the only ID cabinet we have currently in the UK in an Arcade is an Initial D 8, though we have a few more international members here which may be able to help with locations.

I appreciate that some maybe personal collectors so we will exclude these from the google map, however if you want to send a couple of photos we will add a owners gallery at some point.

So if you know of any Initial D cabinets in the wild, could you get a photo of the cabinet in situ and post below with its address and I can start compiling a list.

Any help on this is appreciated, as this will serve another project I’m working on with a few arcade owners :)

Hi all,

Has anyone got any spare JAPANESE Initial D 1,2,3 magnetic cards.

I know the ENG ones will work, however I just want to have a complete set of the designs.

Technical Area / Initial D Conversions
« on: June 06, 2016, 08:10:22 PM »
Hi guys.... I know a lot of people on here have done either Initial D conversions to OutRun2 or even Initial D restorations.

I'm looking at doing a full Initial D restore and apart from taking a camera around to a locals garage who has one... but we will ask him that later ;) Just wondering if you have done a conversion/restore and have any photos online/saved you could send them over to me as want to check out parts, positions etc... also if anyone has any parts from a conversion or spares they no longer require drop me a PM.

Thanks in advance.

or even if you have some spare paint left over.... paint a peice of wood like A5 paper size and then get it to match your cabinet... then jsut post that piece of wood over :)

that might work better with customs etc... than a tub of paint.

Indeed, it's a perfect match. If you want I could get another can and sent it to you. No probs.

really.. do they do a small tester pot etc... as once I got the color here I can goto a paint mixers here and then get a new batch made :)

could you find out the cost and for postage to the UK. that would be amazing.

Superully: No I dont have a cabinet hence why I need help :(

Has anyone in the UK got a genuine Nintendo cabinet... I need to get a paint code/match.

If anyone is restoring a cabinet and have taken the CP rests out (tends to be the best color and untouched). If I could borrow the panel to get a match I can return it.

Any help will be appreaciated.  ;D
