Hi, just wanted to drop a quick hello to everyone here. Been lurking for a while and really like the vibe here. I'm from the Metro area of Detroit, in Michigan.

I've only been collecting for a few years, and it's been really fun (and addicting!) I own a house with a basement that my wife has given the 'ok' to do as I please :spaceace:

Here's where I'm at so far:



left to right,
Astro Blaster (teal cab!)
Outrun mini
Asteroids
Dragon Breed (in a Stargate, which I plan to convert to a multi-Williams)
Mortal Kombat II (in a Gauntlet cab..hey, it was my first one :P)

Also have a Xybots that is currently at another location:


And just recently (on Sunday), picked up an Irish Millipede, which will be getting a full treatment restore:

Hi, welcome here. Interesting to see an Irish Millipede, do you know the background story of this particular game? How and why did it cross the big pond?

I don't really know the backstory on it, I picked it up off a fellow collector who found it on the curb ready for the trash!
He didn't want to restore it, so I said ok

It was a casualty of recent flooding in the area, but aside from the very bottom, its still in good shape, even works! no major swelling, def save-able

I'd love to know more about these Ireland machines, but info is REALLY scarce on this thing

Looking for Dragons Lair 1 or 2, Space Ace, Double Dragon, Robotron and yeah... a Shinobi would be cool, too!

Really like the Millipede, that shape suits the game very well, as for Time Pilot! :spaceace:

yea, it was my first, and I had NO idea what to look for. I didn't even know about dedicated vs. conversion.

That being said, whoever converted it, did do a good job  :lol:

I'd convert it back, but I have no love for Gauntlet  :-\
