never heard about a special version of daytona usa... sound like a conversion .. the turning wheel is ... weird for a sega cab , same for the panel.
maybe i'm mistaken , but for me it's not a genuine sega cab
The daytona was so highly succesfull worldwide, i know for a fact that there were several diffent versions and colours with wooden or plastic panels and different seat-configurations.
In the company i worked for in the 90's, we had so many Daytona's that we sometimes had to search the storage to match pairs or multiples which was not always easy.
And all of them were original Sega's as far as i know.
Sometimes dedicated games that were imported from the far east had different cabinets too.I remember we had GTI clubs from Hongkong that felt really small and crushed your knees when playing. They also had the handbrake lever on the left which was hard to get used to.Appearance was not notably different from European cabinet.
