Those 2 Star Wars are a nice gameroom decoration. ;D
I'm sure the lucky owner will take them very soon.

This is gonna be one cool looking man cave (where you can escape from the wife for a good few hours a day and be a teenager all over again  8))

OK, the fact that I decided to downsize the hobby a bit, doesn't mean that the built of the gameroom has come to a hold. I mean, a half-finished shed is good for nothing.

So here is an update of the activities of the last few weeks. All walls ans ceiling are now insulated and covered with plasterboard and because I had this 'brillant thought' last week that it would be good to also have a space for storage (game boards  and other stuff) and a place for a desk and a cabinet, yesterday a 'USA-style' office corner was created.

Here are a few photo's

And in between I created this private little ice-skating track for some kids from the village:

That will be fun.

Good to see you here mate !!!

Sizing down shouldn't be that hard really. Sell the plastic, sell the consoles, mission accomplished  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Seriously a lean and mean collection is worth more than an infinite number of projects that will never be finished (says the guy who has still SO much to do ;))

LOL

But yeah, I will sell some 'plastic', but also some 'wood'.

And you are 100% right, it's better to have a collection with games that I really want to play, then just collecting games for the sake of numbers. So, my goal is to downsize to max 15 games. But I won't sell console stuff, they are also very enjoyable.

Great to hear from you! :spaceace:

And great progress in the shed, i love plaster board, it´s so easy to work with!!!!

And that frozen pond is great, now you only need 2 goals, then you could have a hockey match!!!

great to hear that you're back, erik, i was a little bit worried you might get out of the hobby completely. welcome back on board!!!

Seriously a lean and mean collection is worth more than an infinite number of projects that will never be finished (says the guy who has still SO much to do ;))

:P i'm far away from an infinite number of projects, so keep 'em coming ...

seriously, i'd love to work on more games at the same time, but unfortunately space is an issue "up here". hopefully i will have infinite space one day - and if not i'm sure i can sell off my games as well. as for now, i just love roadtrippin' way too much to quit ... 8)

p.s.: every single time you show pictures of your estate i'm more and more impressed - living there must be a dream come true!!! are you living in the middle of nowhere, on the outskirts of your town or does every single house in your area have parklike premises like that? can you read between the lines that i am officially jealous?
all i need is ... PONG - and a select few others: TOUCH ME, DRAGON'S LAIR, JOUST, ROBOTRON, MR DO, SAN FRANCISCO RUSH THE ROCK!!!

Good to have you back Eric! 15 games is still very impressive and will leave room for the side art to shine.
