 :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

OK didn't actually expect a serious answer but this is simply amazing  ;D ;D

Yes Marco, that is a very fun game, seen it in every arcade I've visited the last couple of years. Basically it's just "another" version of Whack the mole, but a lot of fun especially in two player.

I was outbid a minute before the end - I was using Japamart as a bid proxy.

Unfortunately, it takes them a few minutes to add new funds, so I had no time to increase my bid.

I see no NAMCO logo on the board and that daughter board looks very bootleg. there's also an extra heatsink near the daughter board that is normally not there
Further, the AC voltage components are missing and look like they were never there.....

99.999% sure this is a bootleg......Way overpriced.

Not after adding the proxy service fees, the overland Japan shipping costs, the overseas shipping costs, custom duties and tax (VAT). Would have been a very expensive (probably bootleg) board.

I can talk to Thomas, my friend who is currently in Kentucky. He is married to a half american/half japanese.
He was 2 or 3 times there.
When that topic was new I invited him to DLF, but he made very bad experience in some german pinball-forums and dont want to participate in forums anymore (oh why? )

I have a talk to him today and will talk about it .....

thats too funny, he just is ringing via Skype....I will open that topic now...
I have a dream....that one day....all members of forum are the same....no matter how long ago they have joined, how many games they own or how many posts they wrote ;)

By the way, talking about Namco Galaxian PCbs, I just bought one on french eBay from joefr74.
I think he has several others... 89euros is not cheap but they seem Namco legit to me.....

Dreaming of a Namco Galaxian waiting in a barn for me... somewhere! A Nintendo Sheriff would also make me happy. And a SNK Sasuke Vs Commanders or a SEGA Samurai... Argh too many; in fact!

I see this one from him:

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=191638170046&globalID=EBAY-FR

Yep that's a real Namco alright....this one has two daughterboards which is pretty interesting:

As far as I can see they are replacements for the bus buffers which are normally 74LS245 or another big type (forgot the number)....they look to have been replaced with several separate buffer ICs. I think this option is mentioned in the Namco drawings and I wonder.....why did they do it.....those buffers seem to have a reputation of dying, maybe they already had experienced this and made this mod.

At least one of those boards has a clear Namco logo on it.

I think it's not that bad of a price if you compare them with the Bally-Midway one's on Ebay....and you save transatlantic shipping costs and customs worries....

If your board has the same daughterboards I'd be very interested in good pics of them :)

When I get and after vacations, I'll post pictures of the daughterboards 'cause I think mine also has two of 'em.
