The topic about the previous container is closed so I'll just briefly hijack this thread to tell the world that I'm VERY happy with my 3 fully working games.
Everything went super fine, I'm really excited to have these gems in my gameroom.
I rediscovered Centipede last week and I'm addicted big time!
LOVE, you did an excellentissimo importing chief manager job and TYREM, you went overboard to help with the storage and everything. Thanks guys!

I'd kill for this cabinet! It was one of my first arcade impressions. We were on holidays in Canada in 1991 and while my grandparents did some shopping I discovered a small arcade in a mall. I instantly spent my whole pocket money on Smash TV. ;D

One of the more modern games I really like. Played it at the Arcadebarn in the UK couple of years ago for the first time in my life and loved it. Lots of great humor and action.

Totally underastimated too is it's successor. I don't get it, Robotron, Smash TV + Total Carnage are all great games. Probably the two modern versions get no love because of the strange controls?

Friend of mine would like to have a Galaga (not cabaret) and Pac-Man. So there's the fillers for the 2 slots, if any are available in "very good" or better condition. :)

Just (finally) got feedback from the US. It seems like the container will be loaded next Monday, Dec 30. It took a while to get feedback from the shipping company. I guess they are kinda busy this time of the year ;)
Good news is the container goes straight to Bremen, not Berlin. Bad news for some, its not going to Bitburg (is not practical and too expensive).
I post the list of games to ship on this container in the first post of the thread. Please let me know if you dont see a game there that you expect to see.

bitburg is not an option for the future anyway since I don't want to stress the friendship of Julia, the owners daughter. again. last time they had their whole crew working to unload the container with love and me. i went to bitburg several times to open up the storage and i had to make sure that there was somebody there all the time which meant that somebody had to come in his free time twice.
as much as i enjoyed meeting you guys there for the pickups... it felt like the owner and his employees were doing me a big favour (and that was pretty much the truth). if love will send some cabs to me in the future i would make sure that i own the place. i want to be in control... makes me sleep better. :)
love told me that he is going to deliver some cabs this time. maybe you guys could ask him to bring them to my store in trier. i can put them in my shop if the number is not too high and if your pickups are right on time. i still have a pinball from c3 in my store... which takes a lot of space. this should be avoided for c4. ;)

I can offer storage for 4-5 cabs nearby Bremen (60km south) in my barn, if you cover the price for a larger van which would be needed to pick all up at once.
(4 cabs in c4 for me which can fit in my standard transporter/trailer)

Okey Cokey, I suppose now is the time to start asking about pickups or deliveries.
Currently between jobs, so I so not mind a road trip at all, especially if it gets me out of the country for a day or two. On the plus side, I finally came clean to my Mrs that I had 3 cabs coming, which she took remarkably well considering she thought it was only 1.

Hypothetical at the moment - does anyone in the Rotterdam are have storage that I could park a Roby cabaret, Roby cocktail and Vanguard upright at for a period of 3-8 weeks. My options are either :
- Meet Thomas at Calais next week and transport myself to UK (not practical cost and mileage wise)
- Have them stored in Berlin till next container comes and ship to UK en masse then
- Have them dropped off in Rotterdam area to someone with storage for a few weeks and ship them into my apartment till I can get them back to UK myself by ferry / car. Car would ideally be a hatchback type that can take a full size upright on 1 trip and the Roby cabaret and cocktail on the next.
All this is of course assuming that there are cabs going to the Rotterdam area.

i don´t think you will not get what you did pay for. thomas did forget my Zaxxon in the c4 and the screen in r-type was fucked up though it was promised to be in good condition. he took care of the screen and zaxxon will be in c5. i do understand you, trust me. everything seemed to slow down a bit, especially communication (which is not a good thing for sure). i am confident that you will get your stuff. c5 should arrive in may. that´s what i was told. i will try to contact him and ask him to get back to you. :)

First off, I am very very sorry for all the delays. Please accept my apologies. I do have a new job that takes all my time and attention right now. Thats not a good excuse I know.

And I will stop doing these containers. There is this one coming in (container #5) and another one (#6) to bring everything over thats still there and tie everything up.
Again sorry, for how things went in the last couple of months (cant believe how time flies) and I ll work hard to get everything out now, so I can move on.

My US partner had a pretty bad accident about 10 days ago. He got smashed by an arcade game, broke several ribs and had his lungs collapsing two times since. He is not in hospital anymore but high on pain killers and I am waiting for him to be back online again to discuss how to proceed.
Short: Container #5 will be delayed aprox. two weeks till we figured out how to handle everything.

i got a pm from Benj als well last night and I knew that chase had to pay 450 dollars. I did not know about the probation and it would have been fair to tell me, Thomas.
You promised me that you will work on your public relations. I am still not worried since I have had cabs in every single container and everything went smooth... even the stuff from Coinop came in good condition with nothing missing. I still trust Thomas and I am sure that all my stuff will arrive. But the way how the status of all this is communicated to us has to become better, man.

I think whoever has stated they have a cab on container 5 got the same PM.
This is my first container cab and am a little worried now but I also trust Thomas. Hopefully not too long for a shipping date and if Chase is still recovering maybe he can organise for some friends to do the heavy lifting and get this moving again.

I never had any problems with missing stuff and especially the Bitburg-container that I was somehow involved in was a real pleasure for me cause I was able to meet Thomas and some of you guys. It was a blast.

Thomas has always helped me and got my games safe in the previous containers.
No more missing stuff on my side neither since Chase took care of the shipping… before that well let's say things were a bit on the loose side.
For instance my Q*Bert advertised by COW as complete came with "little bits" missing like… a complete monitor for instance!
Anyway, water under the bridge, my point here is: even if he is German and has a weird haircut, I still trust and support Thomas 100%!!!

Let me say that I am not an idiot enough to not question Chase's role regarding the accusations that were brought forward by Lloyd Thoburn and his son Benjamin (Coinopwarehouse) against their ex-employee (Chase) last year. I WAS worried and did discuss this topic with Chase a lot and my conclusion is that its extremely unlikely he stole from them. It is as unlikely as him being an hardcore method acting psychopath genius coming up with crazy hard to believe lies that are coherent and never falling out of role even when challenged. His wife must be one of those psychos too. Or let me put it like this. I am pretty sure he is innocent.
Also it seems there is no evidence. I at least never saw any from the Thoburns and I did ask them repeatedly. The judge seems not impressed either. I mean $450 instead of tens of thousands of dollars?
I could explain pretty well what is what and how it came about as I basically do have the facts, but as I am european I know that this is not up to me and none of my business.

Wait a second. Isn´t it impossible to say "pleaded not guilty via alfrod plea"? As far as I know you can only plead guilty via alfrod plea which means that you do not deny that there is evidence against you but and that you settle this due to the fact that you accept this.

Dear Arcade Containers Customers,
My name is Chase Zarefoss. I am Thomas’s associate in the US and I am writing this to help Thomas explain what is happening here. Although I can’t get into details now, I wanted to make a statement for clarification.
As you have heard, there was a charge of theft made against me, and you may have been sent a link to a Maryland State web site showing that I was found guilty. This is not the whole story. Charges were filed and I did make a deal with the prosecution to enter an Alfred Plea and receive Probation before Judgment. An Alfred plea is not an admission of guilt.
If I had taken a chance with a court trial and was found guilty, even of a misdemeanor offense, the damage to my personal life may have been irreparable. A court record currently exists because the Judge wanted to make sure that court costs were paid before Probation before Judgment was granted. These fees have been paid and my attorney will file the paperwork to adjust the record shortly, with the expectation that Probation before Judgment will be issued and the court record expunged within a month or so.
My accusers know this, hence the blitzkrieg PMing and online shaming that is taking place. The accusations that were made against me are in no way related to my relationship with Thomas, past or present, and everything Thomas has put in my care is safe. Proof of this [e.g. time and date stamped pictures] can be provided via a request through Thomas.
I regret any stress or worries caused by these latest personal attacks on me. Please remember that these have been ongoing for over nine months, and all of the containers shipped by me to Thomas during that time have arrived safely. We are working hard to speed up the current container shipment now that things are back on track. Progress pictures will be taken and Thomas will post them. Thank you for your business and patience.

Some quote regarding Probation before Judgement (http://www.ccc-law.com/probation-before-judgment-in-maryland/):
"If the defendant successfully completes his or her probation, the defendant may be able to file an expungement request and have the case go away. Unless the defendant files for an expungement, the case stays on Maryland’s Judiciary Case Search where anyone can look up the case."
Thats why you still see the Guilty part (actually the whole case) on the Maryland website. Ah whatever, any questions keep them coming.

I often see pictures of coinopwarehouse on fb with games stuffed on pickups one next to another without protection, etc.. So actually I'm happy Chase is taking care of it :)

These aren't personal attacks, nor is it "drama". I understand you guys want your cabs, and I hope everything arrives safely. Initially, Thomas demanded proof that Chase stole from COW. Well, here's your proof: Chase was CONVICTED of felony theft. If you notice in his statement, Chase does not deny stealing nor does he explain what happened. The Thoburns are stand up folks who would not make up serious charges out of thin air. An impartial court believed their story beyond a reasonable doubt and sided in their favor. I just wanted you guys to be aware of what is going on with Thomas' partner in the US.
I'll leave it alone now.

Lloyd contacted me via facebook monday night. I did not see it because he is not on my friendslist and the message did not pop up. it was pushed in the other folder.
It is strange for me cause I really don´t know what to think. I don´t know Chase or Lloyd in person. Both sides have certain points speaking for them. I know that nothing went wrong with my past container-cabs.
I am optimistic that we will get what we have paid for though. :)

Chase did take some first pictures of one of our storage units yesterday. He is on the road all day today and will take pics of our other units later today and tomorrow.

Unfortunately I didn't have the time to do this bugging til Wednesday and Thursday was a bank holiday in Germany. I did talk to them yesterday and now they are waiting for info from the company that is doing the actual shipping, which they wont get before monday it seems.
Short: I will most probably get the final delivery date this coming monday. Stay tuned.
