The problems with the "Nintendo" "flat" T-molding being available so far is that it was not flat at all, the wrong material not shiny like the original and so overall not very much like the real stuff.
[EDIT: Please note this from Audiomidiman's webpage: 4) Satin finish (not semi-gloss because they cannot do semi-gloss in flexible PVC)]
Audiomidiman from KLOV forum is going to take on pre-orders for people who are interested in a TRUE repro of this T-molding.
So all you Nintendo cab owners, chime in to get this project done !!!

I won't wait too long because the pre-order period is pretty short. I do think this stuff will be available after the pre-orders have been done, but I'm not sure....didn't read every post in the threads there....
Also note: the pre-order page says it _may_ be your only chance to get it.
Also, for pre-orderers the 30 dollars per 20 feet includes shipping within the US. I assume that we will have to pay any extra for shipping abroad, but it could save a couple of Euro's (esp. when we do the group order).
I'm actually thinking about getting another 20 foot. You never know what you might bump into......oops NO MORE CABS ;)
Oh, by the way, I have a set of T-molding of that other repro Nintendo T-molding here for sale :D Never installed completely new.

I just checked the width of the T-molding on my Japanese built cab and it's exactly 15 mm. so that's fine.

Well luckily the structure of the Nintendo T-molding is so that it is very little mass compared to the regular stuff.
Incidentally I noticed yesterday that my (bootleg) Puckman has a similar flat structure T-molding, but then in black. Bet I'm not going to find that stuff though....Hope a US sized T-molding will fit....

Bill just e-mailed me with an update and some extra info:
Took some more photos of the sample material and updated the pre-order
page. Some decent photos. Now, I saw your thread at your dragon lair
forum and this is not as shinny as the original (more satin). Just
wanted to make sure you guys know this before we ship this overseas.
20' = less than 1lb... So, 5-6 lbs... So, 120 feet isn't that heavy.
So, do not expect the "shine" to be a 100% match. As Bill writes on his site:

Anyway, I'm sure it will still look 10 times better than the "bulby" alternative.

I strongly recommend not installing the super flat more flexible T-molding with that!!! haa haa. Won't dent. But you might find it following a profile you would find undesirable.

For speed, it would be ideal if you guys could still use PayPal because I will have the amount immediately in the PayPal account so I can pay Bill ASAP so we can have the T-molding here ASAP too.
For shipping I chose Priority International Shipping from USPS, so that's 1 class over First Rate Int. shipping (which is what I normally use). This way we have it quicker AND it's even more reliable. The total in costs difference is very low per person so that's why I went with that option.

OK, Gyruss and Superully are in ! A whopping 200' will be crossing the big pond. That is almost 61 meters !
Now for shipping we chose Priority International. In my opinion this is safe enough. I have had countless packages send from the US to me with lower rated service (First class international) and ALL showed up without problems.
Also because of value indication, we are kind of excluding insurance. So for evrybody there is a (small) risk in this, but I think we all agree. If not let me know.

The grand total is as follows:
10 x $25 = $250 + $45.75 shipping = $295.75
So, note that because of the large order we rounded up, we managed to get the shipping included in the price of the 20' which is great IMHO !
Now, the official currency euro/dollar rate is 1.22 at this moment, however as we all know PP and banks use a much worse rate AND the rate is pretty volatile lately.
May I suggest, because of this, to use a rate of 1.10 ?
This would mean €26.89 PER 20 FEET. For most of us that means I'd like to see that amount transferred on my PP account. For Muerto that will be €53.78

My T-molding arrived here in Australia a couple of days ago - it is totally awesome.. very flat and exactly the same as the original profile pictures that have been floating around..
The fact that I am the only person in Australia to order the flat t-molding must means that I must be also the only nut case here that scratch building one as well :)

O and look Bill put in an original Magic Eraser (sponge) in there so I can do a 1 on 1 test between these and the Korean stuff.
First thing to notice: the original is bigger...and it has a "Mr.Clean" logo on it....
