[For Sale] Dragon's Lair II cab' in UK (via ebay uk)
« on: May 15, 2007, 03:00:14 PM »
Because Dragon's Lair II is not a common game in europe, I post this ebay sale on the forum .... for archive

The pictures :

The description :

This auction is for a very rare Dragons Lair 2 Arcade machine.
I am selling this unit with no reserve and a starting bid of £100 as the monitor does not function and game eproms are required.
This would make a good renovation project and eproms can be downloaded from the Dragons Lair Project
Everything else is working fine, I have had an electrician look at the monitor and it is repairable at low cost (about £50).
This is the chance to get a very good deal as fully functioning units are selling for £800+
The machine comes with DL2 disk and keys, the case is in good condition, however, the side art has some damage.
Winning bidder to collect

The Description :

This Auction is for an extremely rare DRAGONS LAIR 1 Full size Arcade Machine

The unit is fully functioning and is in good condition given its age, there is some minor damage to the case, near the base (wood has chipped slightly) and a few scratches. The front joystick panel has some damage, however, new vinyl artwork can be downloaded from the web.

Given the units size and weight this item is sold for collection only.

This version of Dragons Lair has the full original American LED score display (that is permenantly lit) rather than the modified on screen score that a lot of the newer UK versions have. The game would pause to display your score and then continue, this version has uninterupted play.

Originally imported by Brent Leisure the machine was manufactured in the USA for the UK market and therefore has the correct transformer installed for 220-240v AC

Dragons Lair Laser disk, game eproms (all installed) and keys are included.

This game is 24 years old and very very rare, a starting bit of £300 therefore represents extremely good value.

Good Luck and happy bidding, winner to collect.
